Fit.
Bought this to replace my sander pad and it fits and works perfectly.

Good value for the price
Works as intended. I use 1/4 sheet non stick paper so I had to trim my pad to accept the paper size. If used with stick on as sold, works perfect. Good value for the price.

Protectable model 330
Sander Stikit pad is about 1/2 the thickness of the original pad. Thereby reducing the damping effect of the sander

Very high quality piece, but needed trimming
I am pleased with the fit and overall quality of the pad. I could not, however, get a standard 1/4 of a sanding sheet to fit. I simply took a sharp knife and cut around the pad, using the metal substrate as a guide.

At least as good as stock/OEM, possibly better!
The metal plate is much thicker than stock/OEM by roughly a factor of 3. I can't imagine this would be a bad thing, seems like it actually be better!Another reviewer noted that the foam padding is thicker and a little bigger than stock OEM. You can see in pics that the stock/OEM plate doesn't quite support a 1/4 sheet....the paper hangs over by about 1/4"...so again, this could actually be a good thing. If not, simply cut off the excess with a razor knife.Installed in my Port Cable 330's and did a test. Seems to work just as good as new. I'll report back/revised this review if there's any jerking or skipping as the other reviewer mentioned, but do far, this looks at least as good as the stock PC plate, if not better!

It worked just fine. I did trim off 1/8 inch of the foam to hold the sand paper better.
Thanks for this product. My sander is now as good as new.

Close but no cigar...
When I saw the low price on this pad replacement I jumped on it. Well, got what I paid for as they say. It arrived on time and in a clear bag, unopened. I installed the new plate/pad on the P/C300 and immediately noticed the pad is larger than the original. Yes, one could trim it but it's odd it would be made oversize. I forced a 1/4 sheet of my 180-grit sandpaper (was barely able to clamp it around the oversized pad) on the sander and began sanding, or should I say, I tried to sand the piece. I suppose the rigidity of the plate is so high that it causes the sander to dance around, herky-jerky, which is totally uncharacteristic of the tried and tru 300. Bottom line, I'm sending mine back. Yes the OEM is $20, but if it's works as designed it should last the rest of my woodworking days.
