Great Amp with a great price. the bass knob is just what my system has been missing. Four kicker two ways and a Memphis 4 ohm 10 inch sub. The pioneer touch screen puts out four volt threw the preamp out puts. It sounds great!!!

hifonics is a good brand but seller mislabeled the header this is a 1600 watt amp not 1700 as it says

UPDATEWell, Channels 3 and 4 failed. I spent the day testing and then tearing down the entire rear interior quarter to get into the amplifier tracing the problem to the FULL/HPF switch fritzing out... It currently has a piece of folded tape wedged in it to keep it functioning.This is the kind of failure I find completely unacceptable... I have not decided whether to pull it out to fix it or to return and replace it or what... But because of the turn around time I will probably land on fixing it myself.At any rate I'm not happy with the situation.So, 5 stars dropped to 1Original review:I approach this purchase with some trepidation, what it came down to was it fit in the tight spot I had to mount in, and the specs looked good enough to produce the sound quality I was hoping for.And so far so good. I'm actually impressed with the clarity it drives a pair of 6 x 8 front component speakers, a pair of 6 x 8 coaxial speakers at 4ohms and an 8 inch dual coil subwoofer wired in series at 4 ohms. You can turn it up and get it loud AF without any clipping or distortion.The sub is a little under driven, however the sound quality is very good.I will come back and update you all if there is any news on its future performance.
