The only downfall that I can see to these that I have experienced was that the tip was a touch to big to fit through the lace whole.

I purchased the 43" laces (which were actually great quality and look nice too) but they were only 38". I returned, repurchased again and this time they were 38". On the outside of the label they say 43". I would not recommend for hiking boots unless you are planning on not tying your shoes!

Love it because its strong. 2 months and it hasn't rip.

After going through numerous shoe lances for my Dunham boots, I finally found shoe laces that are both stylish and tough enough to withstand the shoe lance holes on my boots. We will see how the hold up In a year.
