Limescale & Chlorine Removal Single Deluxe Water Filtration System

I live in a pretty hard water area, so I've left it well over a month since having this filter installed just to see how it was performing before writing a review. So far it's done a brilliant job. Not a trace of limescale in my kettle, and that is usually well encrusted again within two or three weeks of descaling. Also, when I called Direct Water Filters to check on a few details, the bloke could not have been more helpful. So a good product, and good after sales service too. Nuff said!

I left three stars as we didn't install it. The unit itself seemed well made, but we were after something that could be put in line from the mains, to protect the sink tap. This is actually a stand alone unit with its own mini faucet, as an add-on to a water system. I probably mis-read the bumpf, but it wasn't clear to a member of Joe Public.Also, more annoyingly, we had to pay postage to return the thing.It's probably fine for the purpose it was designed for, but it won't protect your whole supply.

Does the job. Brilliant value for money. Posh looking tap compared to many I have seen. We love our new filter system.

I find this is perfect for drinking fresh clean cool water without having to buy water bottles.

Moved to an even harder water area. The Britta filter kettle still kept getting limescale deposits in it. This east to install filter system has been in use for about 2 months now and the kettle, without the filter, shows no evidence of any limesacle. The water from it is even drinkable - which saves on buting bottled water.
