Henschel Hats Aussie Breezer 5310 Cotton Mesh Distress Gold Hat, XX-Large

I dig the hat, but yes I should have listened to other reviewers. Sometimes you see those reviews and they are old enough to where the company has corrected the size chart, but no. I ordered what should have fit well and it's kind of a bucket. Will probably get the next size down.Update 2016-05-09 next size down fits like a charm. Very happy with this hat. Hiking guide in Tucson wanted to trade me his Henschel for mine because he had the plain light colored one. OTOH his is probably much cooler in the AZ heat so you can debate appearance vs. functionality.I did crunch it down and pack it in my luggage and when I took it out and reshaped it it looked great again. Love it!

This is a nice looking, well made hat. I bought it for my husband because most hats that are sold as 'large' are too small on him, so it was nice to find a sized hat that was not crazy expensive. Ours came with a strip of foam that you can place inside if the sizing needs to be adjusted. In his case, the XXL was perfect, and he looks devilishly handsome in it, says he feels like Indiana Jones. I took a chance on the distressed gold color and found I really like it, looks like a nicely broken in hat. I'd advise folks to play the Amazon game of price hunting, as I found wildly varying prices for this hat.My husband wears this for outside work and finds it comfortable, not heavy as some have said (a preference I suppose), and it provides ample shade. Highly recommended.

Can't say enough about this hat! I got the wrong size sent to me at first, but quickly got the right size with a no-cost return. Its light, comfortable, decent looking, and keeps me shaded well and my head cool. The mesh of the upper part of the hat is pretty good size, lets lots of air in. If I was bald I would be worried about sun getting through the mesh, but as it is I have some hair to block the rest of the sun haha. Not waterproof due to the mesh, but I had it on in some light rain and it at least kept the rain out of my face while I was working. I'd buy this hat again, and in fact I did get one for my father as a gift!

Great Hat. The large brim is perfect for keeping the sun off the back of my neck and out of my eyes. Recommended for anyone working outside.

Very nice, high quality hat. Light and breezy as advertised, with a substantial brim to block out the sun. The leather chin strap is also great. Highly recommended!

So cute! It was a little big... maybe really big for my noggin, so I read another review and they said they put cotton in the liner. I did and it fits like a dream!I get lots of compliments, which makes me feel good lol 😊I love it!

I like Breezer hats in general and this brand in particular. Well made, durable, mesh springs back pretty well after crushing. Mainly it keeps sun off and directs any breeze directly over your head for cooking. Makes being in the sun far more comfortable.
