Easy to attach and adjust
This headgear inserted easily into the mask and was easy to adjust when it was loose at first. It did slide up on my hair more than the original did.

Materials of good quality, fit and finish matches factory new headgear strap
The Reason for Selection:My old headgear was very stretched out and needed to be replacedGeneral observations:This headgear strap is made to the same dimensions as a factory new headgear strap, The velcro that attaches it to the nasal mask is of good quality and does not come loose when sleeping on my side or my back. The elasticity of the strap keeps the nasal mask firmly against my nose but is not too tight. It is a good replacement strap for the DreamWear Nasal Mask. The Good:Materials of good qualityThe Bad:Nothing Bad.The Ugly:Nothing Ugly.Value for Price:From my perspective and experience, the price of $8.99 is fair.If you want to understand my star rating criteria, click on my avatar above. Works better than the one the mask came with!
My mask came with headgear that had a single strap across the back and used silicone plugs to attach to the mask. The straps were such that I had to pull one over to the Velcro on the top and one on the bottom as they cannot overlap each other. This made it fit a little twisted. I was using the smallest strap. This new headgear doesn't use the silicone tabs to hold it on but simply has the strap go through the hole and then Velcro in place. I have both straps adjusted where I need them and there is no overlapping so the mask fits as it should, and the headgear is on straight. With my old headgear I woke up several times a night having to readjust it as it kept slipping up on the back of my head. This new headgear does not do that, so I am getting more sleep now. I would never have guessed that different headgear would make such a difference in the amount and quality of my sleep. I know over time this will stretch, this can't be helped, so I am going to put this item on my reorder list and am going to get a spare on hand.

An inexpensive replacement for your DreamWear CPAP strap
While I prefer the newer version that they came out with (with the plastic arms that drop down behind your head), this is very similar to the original headgear. It fits well and is ready to use.I think it's a great value. OEM parts are so very expensive. With a high annual deductible, insurance doesn't pay for them so I'm always looking for quality supplies for my CPAP at a good priceI recommend this value

A good, solid replacement.
I was able to use this immediately with my CPAP setup. It is soft and flexible and appears to be well constructed. After over a week of use, it seems to be holding up well. It fit just a little tight through the holes on my Dreamwear, but nothing that has caused me concern. It leaves a mark in the morning, but no worse than past headgear that I have used and it fades pretty fast. I did notice that it seems to stretch just a bit more during the night and doesn’t flex back to where it was before. As a result, I’ve had to adjust it slightly once to account for this. This phenomenon isn’t different from others that I’ve had in the past.Overall, I’d say that this headgear is no better or worse than most other I have used in the past. I did like that it has a thicker part (some I have used in the past have thinner parts), which does seem to limit it’s slipping. CPAP supplies can be expensive, so I do try other things from other manufactures from time to time. That being said, I would purchase this again.

It's Inside Out
This headgear looks well enough made but it really does not make sense.... One side has a slick surface, the other side is foamy and has a texture that would not slide easily. The problem is, if you assemble it properly with the Velcro straps to the outside, where you can adjust your headgear, the slick surface side of the strap is against your head and the strap slides around. Poor engineering or poor workmanship, either way it's backwards. I would rate this 5 stars if the Velcro was mounted on the other side of the strap.
