Excellent for wet cat food!
I use the half pound size for feeding my cats (sometimes, the quarter pound size, but they're a little small when I have to either cut up large pieces of canned food and/or mix in meds). For my two girls, who are slow eaters, I put the paper dishes into oval ceramic cat dishes to keep the paper dish from sliding around; for my two boys, who are absolutely food hounds, I let the paper dishes slide around. It makes them eat more slowly, chasing the paper dish around, and keeps them from doing the dreaded "scarf and barf."We also used these at rescues and the vet hospital where I worked, and they were awesome. For last feedings, we didn't walk in the next morning to crusted over food in plastic/ceramic dishes that had to be chipped out before washing.
