The instructions could be a little bigger for viewing....My 8 year old grandson loves it!

This comes with a bunch of parts that are not labeled with many bolts similar in size. 24 steps for this project with each step having multiple steps within the step. With no clear instructions on which of those steps within each step to do first. I had to modify a few steps because the nuts would not physically go onto the bolt because of the lack of space(another bolt/nut was blocking the way).Would not recommend this for anyone. I as an adult had a difficult time. Took me close to 3 hours to complete. And by the time I was done…something was not right but I’m not willing to figure it out.Instructions are not clear and they are small pictures so hard to see what to do.Don’t buy this!

It is a good gift but I bought it for a 12 year old. The directions are hard for him to go by. He's getting it slowly though

Had a great time building this with my son. It was a nice change of pace from regular building block sets. He really liked the nut and bolt aspect of this set. The metal pieces are well made and felt pretty sturdy. We didn't encounter any bent pieces. There was some confusion on the bolts as they come mixed in the same bags, so we had to sort those out before starting. We were able to get it all put together in 1 session. He loves the finished product and had a great time working on it.

Bought to keep my brother busy at rehab, it did it's job he seemed happy and it's solid.

This will be a great gift for my creative 10 year old grandson! Assembly will take focus and attention to attain the end result... a fun racecar!

What I liked most about this kit was the metal parts, and this was a different take on building racers from a traditional build that consisted of just plastic building bricks. I appreciated the tools that came with the kit, which allowed me to ensure that each screw and nut was tightened to maintain the integrity and strength of the building set. The instructions did a great job of educating me on how to put the model together and where each metal part belonged. I really liked the color illustrations in the booklet, which helped tremendously to ensure the model was put together correctly. The metal parts are painted nicely, giving the model a clean look. All the parts lined up nicely, and no defective parts were observed. I am pleased with this selection and will be giving these to my son to play with since I do not have to worry about plastic blocks falling off because all the metal parts are secured well with metal screws and nuts.
