Who Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?
Love it. Great for grandkids

All parents, teachers, and people who love the littles in their lives need this book!
The emphasis on character is imperative in a society that overemphasizes WHAT you do, or WHERE you go to school. Digging deeper into what counts, WHO you are, is such an important message to convey to our children. I think there are many valuable teaching moments throughout this book in the areas of social skills education, as well. I highly recommend this book to teachers, parents, counselors, or anyone who has little ones in their lives that they love and cherish! Job well done, Paula!

With the changing of two little words the question goes from incriminating to empowering.
For years I struggled with what to give graduating Seniors as a reflective gift. This book is my new favorite book, gift and message. There is always room to ask yourself WHO you want to be when you grow up and growing up is relative. Such an inspiring, profound and beautifully written book. I purchased four and quickly Amazon sold out. I am back for more. The message, the animation and the bright colors and beautiful. Great work Paula Faris and Bhagya Madanasinghe.

Amazing book!!
This book is beautifully written and illustrated! My two kids immediately responded to the colorful pages, thought-provoking storyline and Lina’s sweet character. The message of this book makes it all the more special because it allows for conversations with my kids about their interests, talents, and passions, and emphasizes that who we become is far more important than the job we have.I love it and my kids do too!

When I saw this on TV by the author which I use to watch her every morning I just knew it was something I would want my 2 youngest grandchildren 7 and 11 yrs. old to read. Plus, all proceeds go to Boys and Girls Club.

Important Message
As an educator, I hate the pressure that is put on children to excel in academics and go to college. The important message we should be instilling in children is kindness, and doing what makes them happy, not the job they will have for the rest of their life. This book puts that message in a way children will understand. The illustrations will keep kids turning the page, too.

Focus on Who
This is a wonderful book allowing children to focus on who they want to be rather than what they want to be. It leads to conversations about character and the kind of person they can become. It inspires children to discover their uniqueness and what they can offer this world. The illustration are beautiful addition to the engaging story.
