Micro Mini DV DVR Camera Camcorder Video Cam for Webcam Helmet Bike Motorbike Hiking Sports

I bought this to use for my hiking activities. When I received it, it seemed to work fine. After 2 days of using it for 30 minutes each day ( a total of 1 hour use), it no longer worked. It won't turn on or record. But when it did work, the video quality wasn't bad. My problem with it was that it didn't even last to record past 10 minutes. I don't suggest this at all, even if you do want a cheap camera.

The product has light weight and high image quality. It is a very nice product

There's no screen or viewfinder. Makes it hard to use when u can't tell what your taking pictures of. Could serve as a great keychain prop. Or gag gift.

The instructions are written so poorly it’s nearly impossible to figure out how to operate the camera or be assured that it’s actually recording. I got it to work once and was surprised that the picture quality was so good. But then I could never get it to operate again and after sitting around on my desk for three years I finally threw it in the trash.

Downloaded a video player app. Camera works fine.

I bought the camera a few months ago, but I didn't even unpack it until yesterday. I have followed the manual and tested information on the internet as well, and it does not work at all. The red light turns on when connected to the charger, but it never turns blue, it does not record anything, just goes into dead mode when unplugged. I made sure the the memory card works fine but still nothing, I feel very frustrated.

I am really impressed with this little unit. It puts out really good video for its size. It is by no means so small that you can place this unit anywhere and no one will notice, but it is small enough to be missed by most people. The unit works well, but it is difficult to press the little bitty buttons with big honking fingers. You will get into the habit of using some form of stylus to turn the unit on and get it recording. It also took me a little practice to understand what the blinking lights mean - am I recording or not? In the end, there is no limit to what I want to do with this unit. Now, if only I can find the time to use it like I want to. I have used this unit to record golf swings for further analysis (its small enough to fit in a golf bag pocket and to be used without making the subject totally uncomfortable), recording helmet video from my daily bicycle ride (attached by Velcro to my helmet), and as a dash cam for my car (attached by Velcro to the back of my rear view mirror - pointing forward) to record idiots and trash throwers. I did quickly break the spring loaded clip provided, but find Velcro is a more stable means of attachment.
