this great medieval work is worth the effort and I now have 4 translations which together give you a feel for the subtleties of the philosophy and poetry of the original Kayaam. The Fitzgerald version is not to be disparaged, but it is just a very beautiful shard.

Three translations of this famous work and all for a reasonable price in an attractive paperback. What's not to like?
