Shadow of Suspicion (Love Inspired Suspense) Paperback – February 7, 2017

This story never let up on the tension. Laney lived alone—a widow ever since her husband was killed in a home invasion. She was working as a contractor for the CIA helping to keep the country safe. Suddenly she was as being arrested for the kidnapping of a teenager from the neighborhood with whom she had gotten close. This is a powerful story and I highly recommend it.

Loved the story of Laney and Mark. Sol daughter is missing and everything points to Laney as being the kidnapper. She is arrested by Mark and questioned for hours, the whole time she is denying that she had anything to do with Sarah's disappearance. Laney is a computer programmer for the CIA she try to contact her boss when she is arrested but he is not picking up, that is strange. Laney lost her husband Nate in a home invasion and she has been alone ever since,afraid to put herself out their to love again,Mark who had betrayed but his ex girlfriend had trust issues. God had other ideas, be brought these two together to show them they can love again and learn to trust again. This book has arson, hit and run, attempted murder multiple times, kidnapping and a bunch of people pretending to be someone else.

This was a great Christy story! Most moved fast, a few slow spots. Enjoyed the unknowns that came at the end.

I love all of Christy Barritt's books and this was no exception! Her love inspired suspense books are some of the best I have read. Mark and Laney must figure out who abducted her neighbor's teenager and figure out why they are framing Laney. This leads them into many deadly situations that they must get out of. This book kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire thing. Great writing and wonderful, surprising ending. Well worth the time to read it!

This book was amazing. An edge of your seat suspense. The Author has an amazing ability to pull you right in to the story and have you hooked. I loved the all plot twists and the over all story line. Mark and Laney had an instant connection and both had overcome major tragedy in their lives. If you are looking for an awesome suspenseful mystery to fill your afternoon look no fatter cause this is it. HUGE fan of this Author she is one of the best!!

It was a tad bit rushed and not always believable but it was interesting enough to keep you reading until the end. Not one of my favorites from Christy.

Christy Barritt never disappoints with her excellent writing and her flawed and courageous characters. Laney and Mark must work together to save her life and to figure out their feelings for each other. A great mix of mystery, adventure, and romance. I can't wait to read more!

This is an excellent book by Christy Barritt. It is action packed and full of so. Nothing is as it seems. She keeps you guessing all through the book. It has plenty of mystery and suspense. It even makes you question the people involved that you thought were the good guys. I can't wait for more of her books to come out.
