These are nice after market latches for your truck toolbox, and easy to install.

Decent product for the price. Comes with a seal, both latches are keyed alike, you get 4 keys total, good spring tension, operates smooth and secure, overall sturdy and appears of quality. Using it to replace the battery door latch on a bus, I like the locking feature to prevent tampering. If using on a toolbox I would add an extra layer of security, I wouldn't rely on them to protect $$$$ of tools. They feel a bit dry too so I'll be adding some lock oil to prevent icing in the winter, as well as some grease to the latch mechanism and spring. Only real negative I can point out is the finish came with fine scratches in them, see pictures. If you have a nice chromed out rig, this might be annoying. Time will tell how rust proof they are.

These installed easily enough for my battery compartment door. I used rivits to install it to the door after cutting out the shape. The latch has a nice heavy feel and I dont get any binding when opperating the handle. The finish on the stainless steel is lower quality with some surface blemishes but for the price I feel like it is a good value. The true test will be how they look and opperatie after a few years in the weather.
