Mepilex Border Lite Silicone Foam Dressing 3" x 3" - Box of 5

My wife had developed a pressure sole on her back leg, and she hesitated to go to the doc for treatment, so she asked me to try to treat it, first thing I did was to order some of these bandages in 3x3 " size. when I got them I used rx Silverdene cream on the sole and covered with the mepilex once a day, for 3 days, then once every 3 days, until now in one week its healed.

I used to be a hospice nurse so used this type of dressing on many wounds of many sizes. If it is used as directed, it really enhances healing . They also stay in place and are easy to remove. I was happy to find them on Amazon.

Mepilex Border is a pricey and incredibly useful and effective bandage. Been using these for many years. Simply the best.

I am a diabetic and have had bad bouts of edema. They used these bandages on me when I was in rehab because I get sores and blisters on my legs. I leave them on the sores for a few days. It really helps in healing.

I have used these for bed sores on my dad. Plus on an open infected cyst on my husband. They held on the skin really well.

Great for people who are allergic to most adhesives. Make sure skin is dry and clean when applying.

Little bit expensive for just 5 bandages, would be better value for 10. The bandages themselves work great.

The sticky border is thin and easily curls up and sticks to another part of the border. They won’t peel apart.The same brand but not “light” works well.
