It doesn't block out much light.The material is very soft though

The media could not be loaded. I used it a short while and found it to be worth the price for a number of reasons:1. Blocks the light without putting stress or pressure on the eyes.2. Comfortable, velvety texture...so I found it fine to sleep with.3. Also, I have a big head size. Yet, this one is free-size so it didn't cause me any issue.4. The dual-padding is also good. Probably why it blocks light well, while being soft.5. Strangely, despite all this, it is light weighted.I have no complains.

The band is ok for smaller heads. It barely fit mine so it kept coming out when sleeping. Had an odd smell, wash before use. Request the seller to make a bigger size with more coverage eye area.
