Beware, the Energen DroneMax A40 is not a dependable charging device for drone batteries or any device! I purchased an Energen DroneMax A40 in September 2019. The Energen DroneMax A40 worked for about 10 months. Then, the Energen DroneMax A40 would not take a charge. I returned the device and was sent a replacement Energen DroneMax A40. That replacement Energen DroneMax A40 had the same problem, it would not take a charge. I have been trying since mid-August 2020 to try to get a repair or replacement. I have had nothing but the run-around from the Energen facility in California. I am writing this review to warn consumers that the Energen DroneMax A40 is not a dependable device and the Energen support operation is not helpful at all. If you want longer flight times, buy more batteries. The Energen DroneMax A40, and quite possible the entire product line of Energen charging devices, is not dependable and the support system is poor to non-existent. Please share this information with people in the drone community so that they can avoid spending a lot of money for the Energen DroneMax A40, a device that is not dependable with a support system that is not helpful.

Great product - extremely well made, rugged, and powerful. I currently have six Phantom 4 Pro batteries and the A40 now makes it like I have ten. I get about 1 hour and 15 minutes of extra flying time by re-charging 4 batteries in the field. This has been a great investment! And...to top it all off, their customer service has been excellent!

After 3 months and occasional use I now have a very expensive paperweight. When it worked it was awesome. Unfortunately the DroneMax A40 that I purchased will no longer take a charge. Trying to get a response from the manufacturer but so far no luck.Update (Nov. 2018): Updated my initial review from 1 stars to 3 stars as Energen's customer service came through and I now have working A40. No indication was provided as to what was wrong with the original unit...just happy that I have a functioning charger again.

Lousy! When I'm going out with my drone, I hafta check to make sure Drone Max is fully charged. Most often it is not. If it's been sitting for more than a week, it is completely discharged. AND I am never confident that it is fully charged. The blue LED lights do not correspond to the level of charge it has. I end up charging all my batteries along side the Drone Max which seems silly. I did try to use it in the house to charge batteries just to "exercise" it, but when I go to do this, it's discharged. Way not worth $500. Right now, not worth $5 bucks! Might make a good boat anchor. 🤬

Does exactly what I was hoping. One charge charged 4 P4P drone batteries in an hour! It did drain the Energen, and that took 8 hours to fully charge, but definitely did what I needed.

CheeeeeWoooo A few months ago I won the A40 DroneMax Battery Charging Station from Energen and put this charger bank to the test. Let me first say Awsome job!!! Energen for coming up with this charging station. It has been really great to charge my Mavic and Dji Phantom 4 Pro Batterys out in the field and not to worry about running out of Batterys to fly with. I actually was able to charge my Mavic Batterys, tablet, phone,and controller on a shot 4 times and Still had power on the bank to charge atleast 2 more times or even more. For any one who Flys Drones know it really ruins a fun day of flying or when u want to get that special video or photo and Batterys on your drone says need to charge. This is your answer for all your needs. The DroneMax A40!!! ALOOOOHA!!!
