Winnie The Pooh
This review is for A.A. Milne Winnie The Pooh (specifically book 1 AmazonClassics Edition available on K. U.) Although I own many hardback and paperback versionsI adore The Winne the Pooh series. My first set was the paperback edition with water color like illustrations before surgery when I was four with my own Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger. It helped my wait and recovery time. They accompanied me through many other surgeries. So this why these stories mean comfort to me even today.I had not read a Pooh Story on kindle yet so when it was recommended it was downloaded immediately. This version has black and white sketch illustrations similar to my scholastic book paperbacks (similar to the cover) for those who want to know the kind of artwork inside. This book does have auditable but I never use this feature. I prefer to do my own reading. To me the stories are all sweet tales of good friendships that are heartwarming for all ages. Would highly recommend to others.

adorable
For sure a classic story of a adorable little bear and his friends. Took me awhile to read it but so worth it. Nostalgia

Copyright expired, decent edition but needed some editing
This is a little self-published edition done after copyright expired. Some minor errors.

The best recording of Winnie the Pooh ever
I have no idea why this was pulled from the market! It is the best recording of Winnie the Pooh ever! I recently got the newer recording, that is sanctioned by the A A Milne family, done by a terrible British narrator with odious voices for the characters-he truly seems to have no understanding for the characters whatsoever and how they would actually sound! And while Charles Kuralt may not have a British accent he has that fabulous voice and obviously love these books very much!

Great book
I had to read this novel for a college project and it is very easy to read. I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this novel.

Classic children’s book
Winnie-the-Pooh is a wonderful book to share with children. Parents can read it to small children while enjoying the adventures of this “bear of little brains”.

No pictures
This is a great book and very fun to read to my children. My only complaint is that there is not a single picture in the book. I would have liked to have at least a few story-related pictures to make it more fun. Overall, it's a great book!

Refinding an old friend
I was brought up in the United States on Winnie the Pooh and all A.A. Milne's wonderful books. My mother read them to the five of us when we were little and then we continued on our own. This edition was published in Germany, I believe, and is annotated in with German translations of certain expressions. Amsquing and no problem in the reading. What struck me most as a 60 + adult is how subtly funny Milne's characters (with their qualities and their charming foibles, just like human beings) and how amusing and profound what they say really is. Also how much Milne must have loved his little boy to create these stories about "Christopher Robin" and his stuffed animals.A lovely walk down Memory Lane. Thank you A.A. Milne. You will live forever as will your son and his menagerie.LN

Merveille de littérature
Merveilleux... Un bonheur d'innocence qui rend le retour à la réalité de notre monde moderne bien ennuyeuse! J'ai adoré retrouver l'origine des dessins animés Disney qui respectent finalement bien plus qu'on ne le croit l'oeuvre d'origine!
