In 1947 the US Londan label was created to release British Decca productions. A yaer later the label began to release recordings by US artists, and in 1949 the first batch of these American records were made available in the UK on the new LONDON-AMERICAN label. The second volume of 'The London-American Legend' follows the decline of the label to its demise in 1982, and the re-birth in a new series.
