I haven't slept on this. A house sitter did and said she liked it. But, those drawers are quite difficult on an area rug; the sofa leans way back and if used by my dog, the mattress keeps slipping down toward the floor; and, it takes 2 strong people to raise from bed to sofa again. I would not buy again. I'd look for a pullout sofa with an air mattress. It's bulky and difficult.

Not easy to assemble by one person! The mattress is two heavy and bulky to be picked up by one person. Slats don’t seem to be sturdy, look like they could break easily or pull out of the frame. Don’t see how I could order the drawer that goes with it.

This was close to five stars. Real close.I ordered this because my wife wanted someplace nice for her mom to sleep when she came up and visited, and she wouldn't let me stick her in the chicken coop.My first impressions were very favorable. The framework is made out of steel and hardwood, judging by the feel and smell, it looks like white oak. There is none of the prefabricated garbage so prevalent in furniture now, which gives it a very solid and enduring construction. The designers did not skimp on support slats for the mattress; they're spaces every 4" apart. This is good, because the mattress/couch cushion have enought weight to sink a small cargo ship. Add to that the mattress is very soft, but firm at the same time. It makes it very hard to stay awake if you lay down on it, so it definitely scores high marks in the comfort category. Quality control was excellent, with no damage from manufacturing or shipping, and all necessary parts were included. As far as assembly, that is a double edged sword. The actual assembly was fairly easy, one person can do it, but it will be much easier to do it with two people. The downside is the included instructions. I've seen car wrecks that made more sense then these directions. If I took a can of alphabet soup and dumped it off the roof, the random letters would spell out better instructions then these. My 7-year old could drink a pot of coffee, blindfold herself, take a bunch of crayons, and scribble something on the wall and it would be closer to the actual assembly then the instructions that were included.So yeah. If it wasn't for the instructions, I'd give this thing 5 Stars all day long, because in every other category, it's awesome.

My only negative on this product is that there is no real way to keep the mattress in place and it is constantly slipping down making relaxing or lounging less comfortable when the couch is used.

Use to sleep, very comfortable.

It was very easy to assemble with clear and concise instructions. It is very sturdy. I tightened the bolts and let the family use it for a week. I then went back and tightened everything again. I then capped the countersink where the bolt heads were located. We love the extra shelf at the arm rest and the drawers are an added benefit for storage. Great piece of furniture worth the extra effort of assembly.

Very nice looking and comfortable both to sit and sleep on. It was challenging to assemble, instructions were not the best and portions of it definitely require 2 people. Wish they would have stressed more to pretty much keep ALL of your screws and attachments loose in the holes and tighten all at the very end, otherwise nearly impossible to get all the pieces to fit together. I severely scratched it in the process because I was putting it together wrong. The mattress is hard to wrestle, wants to lay flat and not fold to the couch position. The drawers are "free" and not on any tracks. They roll out so you have to keep rolling them back under and into place. Shipment came in 4 boxes. Got to assembling the arms, opened that box to discover incorrect color was sent (did not match). They fixed it quickly, but then I received 2 pieces of the right arm instead of a right and a left. Again, addressed quickly but it was still over a week of just trying to get the parts I needed.

Very sturdy and pretty straightforward to assemble. Just make sure and not tighten the bolts on the main seating/arm areas until you get the seat and back in place.
