Really good quality at a great price
As a foodie I love good food, good recipes, and good buys. I cannot believe the amount of saffron in this little bottle. Wow. It smells amazing. I'm going to pause this review, go cook some saffron chicken and rice, and come back to continue and tell you how it tastes.Okay. True Confessions time, I was so excited I rushed. Normally I soak saffron in warm water for a few minutes. Anyone who knows this trick knows that it really brings out the flavor and Aroma. But, I was way too excited and I didn't have the patience for that step. The result? Incredible. Subtle layering of flavors, almost buttery, Exquisite taste and aroma.I am almost afraid to tell everyone how good this is because it will sell out and I will lose my new supply of saffron.I want to be absolutely honest in this review, so I will say there is one very small disappointment. The flap on the box was torn a little bit so the box doesn't close on its own anymore. I suspect this probably was done some place in the packaging and so on but it's the only, I repeat only, negative in this whole purchase. I will gladly overlooked a torn flap and I will happily buy this again and again. At this price I don't have to be so frugal with my use of saffron.Mr. Saffron maker, please start selling truffle oil. I will be your customer for life.

Yummy!
I used this saffron to make an afghan dish we all love. This is about the best saffron I have been able to find. It is fragrant and when combined with the right ingredients it became a decadent treat! I even took some pictures. I am definitely going to order more!

Affordable delicious!
I couldn't wait to get this. I love saffron because of a dish called arroz caldo. You bet I made it last night and it was yummy thanks to this affordable edible delicious saffron.
