I loved this book. Rachel was badly treated by her husband, but Lee certainly made it to her. She is really lucky to be part of the amazing Coleman family

Love the Colemans!
The latest installment in Vivian Arend’s Six Pack Ranch series brings us Lee Coleman, part of the Moonshine Colemans of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. It’s a novella, a change from the past books in the series which were full-length. It still gives us all the heat and fun that the other books in the series are best known for.Lee Coleman is in love and in deep. The problem is the girl is married and ten years older than his twenty-four years. Lee perseveres and six months later, Rachel is divorced from her cheating husband and hurting and Lee might just be the medicine she needs if she’ll let him in.The story deals with a number of issues including adultery, mental abuse, self-worth and age discrimination. Vivian Arend tackles these issues well and with great compassion. Like his Coleman cousins and brothers, Lee knows how to make a woman happy and learns a bit about himself along the way.The plot is well executed and fresh with great supporting characters especially Lee’s brother Trevor, the unknowing facilitator of the relationship. While part of a series, it is a stand-alone and can be read without reading the other books. But I do recommend reading all the Six Pack Ranch books for the entire story of this great family dynasty. The first book in the series, ROCKY MOUNTAIN HEAT is free as of this post date at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Shelter from the Storms
It may be the shortest Coleman story that I've read to date (the in-between-books vignettes not included), but it doesn't skip a thing. The high heat, tender and sweet moments, and that little bit of friction between various characters is right where I expect it to be. I am DEFINITELY not disappointed. 😉I love Rachel's courage to leave a toxic relationship. While she occasionally lets that alter her reactions with Lee, I love how she backs herself out of that line of thinking. As for Trevor's shenanigans.... Boy, I can't wait to see how they get their revenge! 🤣I read along with the audio book. The narrator continues to be Tatiana Sokolov. I really do like her, even though I'd sometimes like her to have a male voice to assist. If you've been following my reviews, you already know I'm greedy. 😉Even though each is a standalone, this series is better enjoyed / understood if read in order. It's not a requirement, but the characters and their stories are very intertwined as the Coleman family is large, and they're all active in each other's lives.Story: 4 starsNarration: 4 starsListening Speed: 1.6x

Such a sweet story
Short, sexy, funny. I finished it in a day and will definitely start reading this series. Not too much drama, just a simple lovely love story. Recommended
