Nice to find back-in the uk, but far too much sugar to be a healthy option

I used to drink horchata a lot when I was young and on family holidays in Spain. It's one of my favourite drinks of all time and i've bought this particular brand quite a few times now. The flavour is good but there's just far too much sugar. I decided to get it occasionally as a treat but after a while, I just found that the sugar was overpowering and ruined the drink. It was never like this when I had it in Spain, so i'm not sure why they've overdone the sugar. I guess it's cheaper to fill it up with sugar cane. Also, when this product was first listed it was selling for almost half the price. I assume that the seller quickly realized that people in England were used to paying hiked up prices and adjusted the price tag accordingly. It would be great if someone could sell a more authentic flavoured version at a more reasonable price.

Shop bought horchatas can have a really water down flavour and tend to lack "body". But not being in Spain and being able to go to a proper horchatería, this Amandin horachata is not bad at all. Price wise is not bad taking into account that is imported and being long live you can enjoy all year round.

Tiger nuts are healthy but eating them is not easy due to their texture.I love making my own healthy hit chocolate and thought I would try using this as the milk base. Very pleased as it mixed well with my other ingredients and gave a lovely taste.

The new version of this product (comes with a screwcap with the top of the brick being slanted) is absolutely beautiful this version is slightly thicker than traditional horchata but taste almost exactly the same if it's richer in texture and not watery as the older one. I'm happy with this change but people who prefer the water one may not enjoy this new version.

I love this product, sadly only one star for value now the price has gone from £11.34 to £18.16 since the start of the year. I will no longer be buying at this price which is a real shame as it's a great product.

I love this stuff, tastes just like the one I've had from Mercadona in Valencia. It seems like it's an acquired taste though, my kids hate the taste and smell, I find it refreshing and deliciously sweet.
