decent bed, sturdy, had minor cosmetic chips in faux wood
Overall, the bed is shipped in a medium sized box, it's still pretty heavy from the metal and the wood pieces. Maybe 50lbs? So be prepared with some help to move it into the house. It's shipped by fed-ex so overall came in decent condition like no huge dents or holes in the box. When taking all the parts out, i noticed the rounded smaller wood separators that install onto the top of the bed wood shelf had actual wood chips where the faux wood veneer was actually chipped off. And it wasn't from shipping, there was no chips in the box, so i assume the company that makes these just shipped it as to not waste any money lol. So if you mind maybe a few small cosmetic flaws, then you might not want this specific bed. But this was for my young nephew so once the bed was all together with the led strip and power hooked up, he didn't even notice or care lol. The instructions are ok, just use them as a guide, basically put the pieces where they go, then look at the screws and you can figure which ones make sense to go where. The directions aren't always correct, i think it said use medium for some screws that should be short, and long for a medium, but basically you can figure it out just by seeing how far the screw goes in. basically if the wood isn't thick, then it's probably the smaller, or medium screw. I rearranged screws till i got it right, but when it was done, it was quite sturdy. There is the one piece of wood that has the fabric on it, which attaches to the sides of the headboard, which was like a puzzle. Once i figured it out, it fit nicely. So no, there shouldn't be any missing screw holes or anything like that, just have use the right size screws for each part. So basically one person can build the head board, one person can build the bed base, once it's done it screws right onto the headboard and was easy. Then the slats are held in with velcro and the top slats are held with one med sized screw. Once the mattress was on the bed, it felt solid and didn't creak or move. I bought the one with the black cloth and my nephew liked the color. The led strip can change to a lot of basic RGB colors but it's white rendition is a light blue. I thought maybe he can read with the led strip, but it faces up and more gimicky i'd think but he liked it. You can control it with a remote that's included, similar to the led kit remotes for computer fans. You can also d/l an app on your phone to control it but i didn't try that. I felt the ikea like screw parts that hook in the top shelf to the sides of the backboard was flimsy. luckily they give you a baggy of spares screws and parts. The parts in the spare bag worked better then ones in the main screw kit. You'll see, if the screws that have that black plastic sleeve is loose try the ones in the bag. But once you screw it all together it's held by other screws too so it all becomes pretty sturdy. The power/usb block is held in by two small screws, i just tapped a nail to start a hole to help the screw self tap. the power has a connector for the led strip and be careful with the led strip, that double sided tape is so sticky once you stick it on it wont come off lol. so eye the position so it looks even before attaching the led strip. Other then that simple construction and a design kids would love. I got a memory foam 12" and it works great on this frame. So 4.5 because it was shipped with cosmetic flaws in the wood portion.

Enough for the price. Sturdy but if you can spend more I would suggest it
Pros:-Sturdy bed; no squeaking or wobbles-Cool LED light with multiple modesBonus has capability to hook up LED to mobile-Fit a King size mattress perfectly-A nice sized headboard shelf to put things on plus a charger with 2 outlets, a USB port and a Type C port (the type C was another added bonus)-Metal base with wood slates on top that attach by Velcro so easy to make sure they're tight-No box frame neededCons:-Hard to read instructions - no words; all pictures-Requires two people, if you can do it yourself you're on the top level of assembly - took us about 5-6 hours to put together-Corners where mattress meets the headboard exposes some of the wood-LED strip flimsy strip tape glued to the headboard ( I would have liked a removable one as an option as oppose to a permanent fixture)-We had two screws on the left side of the headboard break which made the assembly of the rest of the headboard very difficult and required a lot of force and pressure to keep parts together. Once we got the remaining pieces on the headboard however the sturdiness increased so we're not too worried about the left side as much as when we were putting it togetherOverall for the price 400 USD with shipping, it's an affordable bed frame that fit within our budget. Shipping was fast but putting it together took a lot out of me and my partner. I will be contacting the seller about the broken parts and seeing if they can send new ones. It is sturdy even for the side of the headboard that wasn't staying out because of the broken screws. Would I recommend this bed frame? Yes if you are on a budget and are buying a king size bed. The design and additional features are a nice touch and modern and function for our life style needs.

Sturdy and elegant
We purchased a king bed frame, and it is really awesome. It's very sturdy and looks really nice. Fairly easy to assemble, just took time because it's big.

Have a power drill handy, because holes are missing
For $79.00 for shipping, you'd think they'd white glove deliver, but you'd be wrong. If I wasn't for the fact that I am handy with the drill and i had my boyfriends help, I would have cried and returned this bed frame. The right side of the headboard did not come with pre-drilled holes; none at all.We had to drill the hardware in and hope for the best (for the screws not to go through the headboard material). the instructions don't match the way the parts look and are very tiny and hard to follow. You will be confused and frustrated with this process, and you will need help, so my recommendation is to hire someone or have a friend/partner help you.Once build, it seems sturdy enough. the dual beams for support are wonderful and stabilize the mattress, preventing both people from sinking in at the middle! This was a big problem with our last bed frame that only had one support beam in the middle. Overall, it looks really cool with the built in lighting and the storage space is very convenient.Ascetically, this purchase is a 5, but it was hard to put together and now we have questions around general durability. Oh yea, and you'll have a lot of spare parts left over, which is a bit terrifying, but it designed that way. I'm 140 and my boyfriend is 200, so our weight limit is pretty average. not sure if this bed is made for people with a total of 400+ lbs.

So cool!!!!
Great quality, super nice bed frame!! I was so surprised how nice this was for the price. It took about 3 hours to put it all together but I was by myself. Might be quicker for others :)

DONT BUY THIS BED!
We couldn’t complete putting the bed together because the manufacturer didn’t place the screw holes correctly on the headboard. SUPER dissatisfied. Horrible that we threw away a bed and can’t use this one because of a manufacturer defect. Reached out to seller with no response. DONT BUY THIS BED!!
