Lockhart's Transcend Wax Clay Hybrid Pomade, Firm Hold, Low Shine, 3.7 oz.

I knew instantly that this was a GREAT hair product for my hair type (short, wavy, wiry and prone to fly aways).The product has premium and safe ingredients. It smells awesome with a fresh mint scent. It’s a little hard to scoop out and break down in your hands, but most high hold clays and/or waxes are. Applying to towel dried hair is easy and I actually recommend this method. Mostly because it suits my hair type best and offers the least amount of tug and pull. If applied to dry or blow dried hair I can see this product being more difficult to work into your hair.The texture, hold and longevity/performance are phenomenal. The washout is easy with some shampoo. It also dries to a natural finish, which I prefer over super matte products. Lastly, it tames my flyaways (especially at my hairline and temples) which is one of the first things I look for in a hair product for my hair type.My regimen with Transcend is to towel dry my hair out of the shower, apply a drop of aragon oil with a little leave in conditioner, apply Aveda or Label M Thickening Tonic, then take a dime size scoop or two of Transcend, work through my hair back to front and then style as desired. A little bit of Transcend goes a long way.I have already put Lockhart’s Transcend Wax Clay into my regular rotation of hair products where it is going to stay. This is a killer hair product and I highly recommend!

I'm not sure if the product is old -- but I used a screw driver to get it out. I then used some rubbing alcohol to emulsify it. Once I got it on my hair -- it worked OK. But I've NEVER had a product that was so hard to scoop out. I think the product is old and they won't let me return it. I wouldn't buy it on Amazon.

I purchased this product to test it out in my curly/wavy hair and boy does it do a good job of managing my hair. The hold is fantastic and the scent is very nice and clean. This clay pomade also did a good job of putting volume in my hair so I was able to style it like Elvis's hairstyle. I also love the texture that it gave me. The pomade did what it said it would do by giving me high hold and matte finish. I give this product a 10/10.

Has a good strong firm hold, its a bit hard to get out but not too difficult.Smells like mint as well so its not an unpleasant hair product smell.

overall i like it. it's got some of the properties of a wax, and some of a clay, so it's VERY versatile.you can do a messy or slicked type of look. it's not matte, but doesn't really look wet/shiny either.i would give 5 stars if it was a little easier to apply.

Very hard to lock. I’m pretty sure I was given a expired/stale batch. I love Lockharts but I wanted to try their new transcend wax. Contacted the seller about this issue and they aren’t really being accommodating towards me for it. They want me to ship the stale wax back in order to get a new one. It also leaves white specs over your hair and gives you a dandruff look.Avoid this wax as you might get a stale batch yourself.
