The lid of the case isn’t connected to the base of the case, and the material is thin but it is a nice colour.

My airpods, unusual attachment style, needed to use tape to attach the top of the airpod case but works well

Poor fit and doesn’t stay on, fingerprint and dust magnet, no hole for indicator light
Doesn’t line up with top of case properly, nothing to hold it on so just slides straight off in your pocket or bag. Description claims it resists fingerprints and dust but it positively attracts every bit of fluff and lint and is a fingerprint magnet. Perhaps worst of all you can’t see the indicator light, there is no ‘thinner’ part to allow you to see the light through the rubber. The advertised ‘Midnight black’ is also just plain black, not a match for Apple Midnight. On the plus side is does work with the apple watch charger.
