Cheaply made. Might work for a while, but ...
Cheaply made. Might work for a while, but not a professional quality device.won't work with the Nikon battery grip for the d600, and probably won't work with any battery grip.

Do not order get a better one.
Piece of junk...the glass inside was just rattling around, the little screws to get to it are junk, they strip out.Does not deserve a single star rating, but had to click one to submit.

You get what you pay for
The attachment screws that came with it are all plastic, and the one to attach the metal plate is not long enough to stay on the plate. the unit flips open but the clamp that is meant to keep it open or closed is flimsy and not tight. last, the edges of this viewfinder where it opens are wavy compared to the other side which is flush. It looks like a mouse nibbled some of the plastic away. This item is on it's way back... You really do get what you pay for.

Edges are kind of curved, which distorts the picture. But for $30 I can look past it.
