The blanket is super comfy and the weight is awesome. But it clearly says in the description that it is machine washable but the instructions in the package say DO NOT MACHINE WASH. Highly dissatisfied with false advertising. I purchased this blanket specifically for the machine washable aspect. Love the product, just wish they would be upfront about cleaning requirement

My 23 year old daughter loves this blanket and uses it every day. She is a teacher for special needs children, but she wanted this blanket for her own personal use. It's just the right size for her 5 foot, 100lb frame. It really helps her relax and feel calm after a hectic day.

Really helps calm my anxious child and helps him actually sleep ALL NIGHT long! When he’s panicking this has calmed him down extremely fast.I just wish it wasn’t made of all fleece! It’s hard to use when he’s already very hot in the summer if he is upset. At night not an issue because we keep his room cool.It also washes and dries really well!

OMG! What a great product!I was skeptical and it does cost but then what's the value of your child's sleep, relief from anxiety, comfort? Some products are just worth the cost for the benefits they bring and this blanket certainly delivers and more. I highly recommend it!

I was impressed with the quality of this blanket. The weight really makes a huge difference; it is both comforting and comfortable. I bought the 7lb version, and it was just the right weight. The material is very soft; it has two different textures, so you can pick the sides for warmth or texture preference. I would definitely buy another one of these in the future.

Nice quality & works for 18 year old daughter with anxiety, depression & insomnia. Didn't cure the insomnia but has helped her get some more sleep since.

My 8 year old mildly Austisic son loves this blanket. He weighs 45lbs and this is just right for him. I have machine washed gentle several times and even put in dryer once...no heat though. He rocks in his sleep and although the weighted blanket doesn’t 100% prevent him from rocking I believe it has reduced it and helps him sleep better.

The main reason I went ahead and bought this blanket over others is because it says in the description that it is machine washable. My daughter threw up all over her bed and this blanket last night so when we went to wash it, the tag says hand wash only. This was extremely disappointing. I would never but something to put into a child's bed that cannot be put in thed washing machine. That said, my daughter loves this blanket. She is sleeping better and more soundly with less anxiety.
