This winch was purchased after much deliberation. The old winch was inop and a new one needed. The installation was seamless, bolted in the same holes as the previous one. Basic functions work, wireless remote is great. For the money you can't go wrong, I'm happy....

This is the first full sized winch I've purchased. Mounted it up in a receiver hitch cradle with zero issues. Put it straight to work winching heavy materials onto my trailer. Remotes work fine, winch looks good and did everything I asked of it. Two minor picks, the cast metal hook is not confidence inspiring and generally clunky and lame, also the rope lead is clearly not going to be as durable as steel cable. Not a surprise but always a decision to make when choosing a winch. I really like it overall, especially at tiny sale price!

I couldn’t believe the quality of this winch. Everything right down to the mounting bolts is top notch. I have it mounted to a Rockhard winch mount.

I installed the winch and found neither of the wireless remotes work. Verified batteries were good. Tried product support and they would send new remotes my only option was to remove and send back the winch.

This comes with just about everything you need to mount the winch. I did have to order a plate to mount it to (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C5HVN229). The bolt matched pretty good on the plate. I had to modify the plate for the bolts that hold the rope guide just a hair...First, this is a heavy heavy winch. It weight like 80lbs ish. The instruction book is ok... not great... not bad... The wiring is pretty simple and if you have installed one before it will be about the same. The wiring is also color coded. I highly recommend a mains fuse at the battery (not in the kit and some will say not needed).I have an F250 with a front receiver so this slides right into that. Since I mounted it on a winch plate, I can change it (somewhat) easily to another vehicle.The winch is geared to be very strong, but it is a tad slow. Its kind of a balance. I am ok with the speed, because more often than not, I need the power more than the speed. You can take it out of gear and pull the cord out when needed.The 'cable' is actually a synthetic cord that is strong as all get out. Not sure how they make it, but it is way stronger lb per lb than steel cable for winches. What I am not sure about is how it will withstand UV light (not to self, check on that UV rating). I will most likely be putting a cover on this to protect it from the elements. The instruction booklet makes it very clear you should put something over the cord when in use, like a rug, to prevent the cable from doing you harm should it every break. This is really good advice no matter what winch you use, and I see so few people actually doing it.It comes with two wireless remotes and a cabled remote. I have only used the corded one so far. Operation is pretty simple, spool out or spool in.Everything in the kit seems pretty heavy duty. I just got this kit last week so I havent had much experience with the winch. I will most likely update this review after a few months with updates on how well it is working for me.
