Be quick!
Fortunately I was able to read some of the reviews for this product before trying it myself so I was prepared. The instructions are a little confusing but by reading a couple of times we managed.This kit is definitely better suited for adults from our experience. You need to be prepared to get the mould correct on the first try and to be quick because it starts to set very quickly. It would be quite hard to make sure a child keeps their hands still during the casting process.We’ve now got a lovely keepsake sculpture so I’m very happy to recommend 😊

One chance to get it right
The JANCHUN Hand Moulding Kit would be great for those who are able to get it right first time - but unfortunately we made the mistake of leaving a little gap between our hands in the mould, which ultimately meant the casting stone ended up crumbling away super quickly.The quality isn’t too bad - it’s a complete set which even has a sculpture base and some golden acrylic paints to really make the sculpture pop - if it stays.It ultimately comes down to quality of the mould; if the mould is solid without gaps which would make a strong base, then this wouldn’t be too bad but it may be worth building up to this from the smaller kits first.

Wow
Never tried this before, so I was a bit skeptical of what the final outcome would be. It was easy to use with very clear instructions.....the outcome was absolutely phenomenal. 100% recommend

Okay, does the job. I didn’t use it for hand holding, only solo
Works okay. Not perfect but it was a fun little activity. I wouldn’t display it anywhere in the house, but it was exciting and a nice thing to do

A wonderful sentiment if you get it right!
I found this casting mould a tad difficult to use - purely my user experience and not the good quality or instructions both of which I can’t fault. However, I feel that you have to be super precise and get it just right for a 💯 successful result. I did my kids hands and whilst it’s cute it looks nothing like the photo. Pesky air bubbles! I would definitely repurchase though and gift too as it’s a wonderful sentiment!
