Cabbage collars
Not as big as I had hoped but have used for my cabbages. Really wanted strawberry mats and ordered the wrong thing. However they are of a reasonable quality

excellent product
very clever product. it prevent slugs and cabbage root disease to spoil your plant. the only disadvantage is that it flies off easily in windy cond so must pin it down.Good one!!!

do not buy!!!
every morning when i want to water/look at the garden i wanted to believe that those disks would spare my cabbage from the constant assault of snails and slugs. I do not want to kill them so what i used to do is pick them up one by one and throw them over the fence. I have a fully organic garden and refuse to poison myself with some toxic pellets.those disks were full of slime from the snails/slugs and my cabbages were still under attack. Absolutely useless!!!!

Works
While not being enough to guarantee a snail and slug-free crop, these collars are an excellent addition to an organic slug bait. They're easy to use, although I'd recommend using ground staples too (I just use staples made with a wire and a pliers). The discs also act as a cover for the ground around the plant, reducing water evaporation. Worth the buy.

Agralan Cabbage Collars
Have had problems in the past with cabbage collars from other suppliers in that they tended to be displaced in high winds. In the instance of Agralan Cabbage Collars I find that they tend to remain where applied plus they have the added effect of keeping slugs and snails away from the plants, so far they have worked well .

Ok
Ok but they blow away. Cardboard would do a similar job. Must save the Amazon delivery boxes in future.
