Its bad enough that the USB ports are too close together to connect 2 USB items, but the HDMI port is ridiculously inconsistent. Everything will be working perfectly one day, and then the next, without you touching anything, your monitor will say there's no connection. Every other device that you connect to the monitor will work, as will every other cable, except for your Macbook/dongle combo. And then after a bunch of attempts, it will suddenly decide to wake up and start doing its job. Avoid this product if you care about your time and your sanity.

I regret this purchase. Every port is entirely inconsistent. One day it works, the next it doesn’t. I’ve only gotten the SD card reader to work once, and I’ve tried a dozen times.
