Comfortable, feels good for back, posture, but wheels "sticky" UPDATE ON WHEELS
I've had this stool for only a couple of days, so I may update this review after more use. Initial POSITIVE impressions:* comfortable; the wobble is there, but not wild - I don't feel at all at risk* definitely promotes better sitting posture (in me, at least)* at my 5' 4", my feet can plant firmly on the floor with the seat in its lowest position* my feet can also rest comfortably on the stand itself, and I find myself doing this periodically because it eases some lower back fatigue I feel after sitting some time feet on floor (switching up in general seems like a good idea, but especially so when getting used to a new chair)* the height is easy to adjustONE COMPLAINT -- FIXED FIXED 3/24/18I had complained that the wheels didn't roll easy enough. Uncaged Ergonomics responded immediately asking for details and then sent me a new set of wheels. My stool rolls fine now. (I have a neoprene backed rug under it, in case you wonder, just to protect my wood floor). So - overall good experience with the stool and excellent customer service.

Poorly engineered... Inner-tube went flat in less than a month of normal use.
I'm 5'7" and 187 lbs. I spend about 8 hrs a day, in about 2hr intervals sitting at my desk. So, I got the wobble stool to replace my office chair, hoping that it would remind me to correct my posture while seated. Although the bumpy surface of the inner-tube was a bit hard on my bottom, It was bearable if I took frequent breaks. It served the purpose for about 15 days before it suddenly went flat. I had been stationary just before it deflated... no wobbling and I never bounce... so there was no popping sound.. Just a hiss. I'm guessing it couldn't take the stress of someone of my size? Not worth the money for what is now just a basic hard stool. I would have returned it, but I had already done away with the packaging.

So close!
I bought this stool about a month ago and started off liking it quite a bit. For about $60 it was much better priced than so many of the ergonomic saddle seats I'd been looking at. Reviews had complained about the half-inflated seat pad but I think it works really well to keep ones hips balanced. My one initial complaint were the crappy casters. They don't roll smoothly so I'd find my back hurting from trying to move the seat around. No problem: I ordered replacement casters for another $20 and replaced them today. Yay, smooth rolling! Now the problem is that it's too tall! I didn't realize I already had it set as low as it gets, and with the added height from my nice new wheels, the lowest it sits is about two inches too tall for me. It's so frustrating! My comfortable stool that didn't roll well rolls beautifully now but is too tall to be comfortable anymore!I'll probably end up sending both the seat and the set of wheels back and start my hunt for the ideal affordable wobble-stool over again from scratch. For reference, I'm about 5'6" or 5'7" and weigh between 115 and 120 lbs. If this chair could drop down to 17" it would be perfect but 19" is as low as it gets and it's too tall for me. Taller folks: go for it! Very comfy and with replacement wheels it rolls around like a dream.

overall a nice small chair and I like the wobble
This is a nice compact chair. I don't have experience with other wobble chairs, so can't say how it compares to other kinds. The wobble is provided by a pancake-shaped "cushion" made of thick flexible plastic, which is partially inflated with air. It feels somewhat like a sitting on a sturdy balloon or beach ball. I like the slight wobble, and overall the stool feels nice to sit on. The stool can be adjusted from about 19 to 25 inches high, and the height adjustment works well.I'm leaving off one star, as the stool is not comfortable to sit on while wearing shorts, due to zipper that goes around the circumference of the seat, along with the thick rim of the wobble cushion. It presses into the skin of my legs. But if you don't wear shorts that shouldn't be an issue.Someone had mentioned that if you don't like the wobble, you can remove the wobble cushion as there's another cushion underneath. That is true, but the other cushion is very thin and lightweight, so it's only somewhat more comfortable than a hard wood stool that way.

Buy it! It's amazing!
Where do I start!? I was looking for a chair to keep my core engaged and also not hurt my tailbone. I have pelvis issues and my office chair was killing me. This chair keeps me off my tailbone and I don't hurt at the end of my day now. I read the reviews before buying but they only included info about sticky wheels. I love that the chair wheels don't roll too easily because otherwise, I'd slip when I lean back and do crunches from my desk. This chair is amazing! And I've found so many ways to use it at the office without anyone seeing me workout. My core is dramatically tighter even after only 2 weeks of having it! My legs and core both get worked out with the different workouts I've found I can do at my desk. I have zero downtime, but I've incorporated this chair during my data inputting and it's kept me mentally engaged and physically. 5 stars! I can't say enough! It's also easy to set up, and arrived in 1 day.

missing the adjustment collar
i got in the mail today the 24 of jan2021. i put it together in spite of not having the adjustment collar. I like the stool anyway. it rolls fine and the wobbly is not that bad for me. I am a moving all the time person anyway. I tried to say something to someone about the adjustment collar being gone. no where to say something. it would be nice to adjust it up couple inch. i will change the star rating if something is done about the collar.

Exactly what I wanted!
This stool is exactly what I wanted. It is like sitting on a balance ball but the castors allow you mobility at your desk and you can adjust the height. I have two computers at different heights that I use for work and personal and this chair fits in my small space and allows me to switch back and forth with ease. It also forces me to engage my core during the day. Great value for money!

Would definitely recommend if having back issues
I have been having a lot of back pain and unfortunately my work involves a lot of deskwork and I had found it had reached crisis point. I read up about active sitting and decided it was worth a try although I was unsure how effective it would be. Within just two days I have felt so much better. For my particular problem (which is based around my lower back and hips) this chair has been fantastic and for the money I really can't fault it. It is surprisingly comfortable to sit on and it encourages movement and I still break it up with walking about every hour or so. Highly recommend

Not bad
It hurts my lower back a little as I have a tendency to slide forward so I’m readjusting all the time. But I get the reason behind the chair to build your core and correct your posture.

I don’t find this very comfortable.
Maybe its just a case of getting used to this kind of chair/stool but I don’t find this very comfortable. It isn’t always possible to sit upright so the lack of back support isn’t great and i feel more pressure on my bottom, not more support. Maybe i need to give it time

Really considering cancelling my office chair order. I love this
Love it. I ordered a chair and bought this as an interim solution. Now I regret ordering the chair. Really easy to assemble. Very quick delivery. Not as much wobble as I expected. The cushion could be a bit thin for some but I don't mind that and try not to sit so long without standing so I dont let the thinness affect me.
