Kitchen Scales with Bluetooth | Digital Glass Kitchen Scale | Food Scale in Black | Ideal for Diabetic | App Available

I got this specifically for the bluetooth and app connectivity to make calorie counting and tracking easier. I'm sending this back for a refund.The scales work fine - though they have a low limit on what they can take. I found I couldn't even put my plate on the scales, then add my food to weigh after. This means extra cleaning and washing up and was annoying.More annoying was how the app worked. It had two BIG flaws:1) I couldn't set how many calories I wanted as a daily limit. I had to manipulate the weight and exercise settings to get what I wanted.2) It didn't always work when I added my own food item. I found I had to do this three or four times for it to work sometimes. This is when I gave up.As an aside, whilst the app does show a nutrient breakdown for foods, it doesn't show this for your consumption throughout the day. Whilst not a deal breaker, it would be great to see how much protein, carbohydrate and fat you've consumed so far.The point of this device is to weight and save time by sending the data to your phone. Whilst that worked well most of the time, for the reasons above, I'm sending it back.No where in the description does it tell you the app. For your information it's "fitmefit Food". I've added some pics of the app for your reference.Scales worked ok, but I wouldn't bother with the app.

Cannot get the scales to pair with my iPhone. Emailed the manufacturer - perhaps there is a fix - otherwise going back as dysfunctional upon delivery. Otherwise sleek and perfectly acceptable set of scales - but the bells and whistles promised don't make any sound at all!

Great kitchen scales.... Never used a product like this. Easily connects to the app and provides a range of information. Something for the health conscious.... Was surprised to find the nutritional differences between my estimates and the actual objective nutritional content of certain recipes. Looks stylish too!Only reason for 4 star is the slightly heavy price tag.

This is a perfect gadget for people on a diet as the App works out how many calories you have consumed daily /weekly & how much your BMI requires on a daily basis. It's very easy to use and your scales comes complete with a set of instructions.*Firstly download the app , open up and fill in personal details.*Place the battery's in the scales and turn on.* Turn on the Bluetooth on your devise that the app has been downloaded onto .* Place your food onto the scales and the weight will automatically link and show on your app.* Press select your food icon on the app and select the food type ( you can use the search icon if you can't find it straight away) . This will calculate the callories that meal has , then you add it to one of your daily meals i.e. Lunch.Weighing all what you eat is a great way of getting accurate readings for calorie intake , having the data stored on a device is even better so you can see where you need to change if you do.The scales are very sensitive and very accurate . They look amazing , such high quality and easy to wipe clean. They even have a kitchen timer built in so can cook your food to perfection.The only negativity around the app is that some of it is in German but mainly English - even with the odd German word it's very simple to work out what is meant.I am extremely happy with my purchase on would highly recommend.
