It took me a while to review this because at first I didn't think it was working. I set up the outdoor antenna, plugged in the indoor antenna...and my signal stayed exactly the same. If I shut off the connection by putting the phone in airplane mode it would briefly get better after I turned it back on, but only for a few seconds.After downloading an app to show my network details I found out why. For some reason my phone refuses to use the booster's network and stays on the weak main towers. When I cycle the connection with airplane mode it briefly connects to the very strong boosted network and then a few seconds later it drops back to a bad tower one. I was able to force it to use the booster by surrounding the phone and the indoor antenna with some foil insulation I happened to have, but of course that's not a real solution.So as far as I can tell the booster is doing its job. It's taking a mediocre to bad signal and making it good. I can't really hold it against the booster that my phone won't use it, but it is something to be aware of if you're putting this somewhere with bad, but still present, signal. If I find a solution to that I'll update this review.

I mounted the outdoor directional antenna up on a 30 ft pole and pointed it at the only tower available- 12 miles away- over hill and dale. When I hooked up the booster- immediately I picked up a steady set of two bars- on top of the two bars available. Now have a steady 4 bars and with this power- I have opened a hotspot app and can access the internet- even though it is a little slower than at my home base. Excellent access now present- in a remote cabin because of this setup! Great find!
