Looks great but does NOT get warm at all which defeats the purpose of any air purification.Great for the price if you just need a small lamp or night light, but if you are looking for a salt lamp w all the benefits this is not the one.

I didn't think I'd like this as much because I'm used to more traditional looking Himalayan lamps. I was pleasantly surprised. It's very easy to set up and looks pretty cool in an office or bedroom. Its a small lamp, but pretty heavy. I like being able to adjust the brightness. I can't leave it on as a nightlight though. If you are looking for one you can leave on in a bedroom all night, this is not for you. Since it is a block of salt that you put on a very bright LED light unattached, the brightness from the light does tend to gleam out through the sides.I was hesitant to buy when others said that the salt doesn't get warm, but I find that it does. I can't speak for other benefits of having a salt lamp, but it creates a beautiful atmosphere and has a very calming presence on my house.

It's ok. My complaint is that the salt block doesn't cover the entire base so there is an edge around all sides of the block where the bright light shines up. It's not a huge deal since you can dim the light, but having it on bright makes that edge way too bright. It would be much nicer if the salt block covered the entire base. The block is pretty.

Somehow I didn’t realize how small this would be so you all should know that it’s about 2“ x 2“. Also even on the dimmest setting, it’s still too bright to be in the same room as someone who is sleeping. I’ve decided to put it in my office instead of in my bedroom because I would not be able to fall asleep. On the brightest setting it is as bright as a lamp. Other than that, it looks nice and I’m hoping it will still be effective in regards to its benefits

Got this as a present for my girlfriend. Salt lamps are supposed to have healing powers and help with things like depression and seasonal affective disorder. While I can't speak to that because it's really up to you whether or not you believe that, but the lamp itself is very nice. A simple underlit lamp with a chunk of Himalayan salt that gives off a nice glow and is sure to liven up any yoga studio, meditation space or bedroom. My girlfriend loves it and I do too.

Have not had long enough to speak of true noticed benefits, however, like the smaller size and the fact you can adjust the brightness of the light. Doubles as a good nightlight for a kid's room.

Pros:1) Nice looking lamp.2) DimableCons:1) LED lights doesn't warm up at all. Negating the so called benefits a salt rock is suppose to provide.2) Base where the LED goes into is not flat, the salt rock wobbles when on it and does not sit flushed on its base.3) False advertising. Since the light does not warm up at all even at full brightness, the benefits of air purifier, humidifier

Purchased two of these, because liked the shape and dimmer feature. But it doesn’t get hot enough on bightest and the lowest setting still too bright to my liking to keep on all night on night stand. And one is broken already after moving it, piece of plug on base came off.
