I ordered two packages of 36" planks. One package was great, reclaimed fabulousness. The second package not so great. Of the six planks, only two were useable. Even for reclaimed wood they were in terrible shape. They were chipped, missing whole chunks of wood and crumbling in my hand. I am giving it four stars because the one package was stellar, exactly what I expected. The shipment arrived on time and was packaged well. I would buy again but... order extra expecting issues with atleast some of your boards.

I used the 12 inch planks as a base for the 36 inch boards to build a rack for hanging 2 guitars and a mandolin. The wood is exactly as advertised-reclaimed and rustic, which is precisely what I was looking for. I used a nice, padded set of guitar mounts (also from amazon) to finish the piece.

This is absolutely "real" barnwood, not some kind of artificially weathered barnwood-like product. Keep in mind it's old, somewhat brittle, and has cracks and holes-- in other words, it's genuine aged barnwood! For that reason, it's not the easiest material to work with on a DIY project, but when you're done you'll have a 100% authentic creation that looks wonderful. I used it to make a picture frame and it's perfect.

I bought these for some projects. Very good quality and thick. Real barn wood at a great price!

Very thin so it cracks very easily. Most already came cracked all the way down the boards. Each one is different in color and some have notches which gives it a nice rustic look. Other side is light in color. Flimsy.

Loved the color. haven't gotten to paint on them yet but looking forward to adding some colorful art

I thought it was thicker wood. It’s thin I needed it to be wider.
