Good quality and good taste of tea

A Chinese friend recommended I start drinking this because my eyes were red and itchy. Amazingly, it seems to work! I drink one 1 large cup a day. Like most herbal teas it has a mild flavor that is not unpleasant. You can make 2-3 cups with the same buds. Smells fresh. If i forget to make it for a couple of days my eyes start to itch again so i put it on subscribe and save.

I saw someone gave a one star indicating they should wait for the flower to fully bloom before picking. That’s just ignorance. This flower is picked young to keep its best favor and also much cleaner than a fully bloomed flower, thus, this type of tea is a Premium Chrysanthemum tea. The tea is very good, flavorful. I will give a 4.5 out of 5 star for the taste, 0.5 taking off is because it’s a little lack of sweet. Overall, the quality is very good, but it’s overpriced. The extra money paid is for packaging and convenience for getting it in Amazon. I can probably get the same quality in Chinese supermarket for $13.99.

They ran out of the Chrysanthemum tea buds I normally buy here so I tried three others including this one. The one I normally buy comes wrapped in foil and this one does too. The buds are lighter colored fluffy sweet smelling and the exact weight. The buds from the other two come in a just a plastic bag. They are darker colored smaller unpleasant smelling and about 10% under the stated weight. Prices are changing quickly but presently seem similar when you consider actual weight.

Came neatly in a box and packaged very well. The company even included a bag clip to seal the tea bag after opening it and provided a sample of Osmanthus and LongJing tea.I don't have a lot of experience drinking this tea otherthan from the can with a lot of sugar. I bought this and use honey and it tastes good. However, there is a slight plastic after taste. I'll finish the bag and maybe try another brand. Maybe it's the bag that it came in?
