Absolutely excellent product. Very sturdy and well made. Flaps are thick and durable. We have a 107 pound dog and a 70 pound dog and they use it regularly. Very easy to install within the wall, using the great video and included instructions. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting this option. It has been invaluable so far, as we are gone a lot of days for a few hours and I do not have to arrange for a neighbor to let our animals out. 5 stars all the way.

I would recommend to anyone with large dogs

The FreeStanding Large Dog Door has potential, but it falls short in a few key areas. While the aluminum frame seems durable, the overall construction feels flimsy, especially the flaps. The magnetic design doesn’t always seal properly, letting in drafts. Installation was more complicated than expected, and the telescoping tunnel didn’t fit flush with my wall, leaving gaps. The two sliding lock panels are a good idea in theory, but they are hard to slide and don’t feel secure. For the price, I expected better quality and performance. Wouldn’t recommend for heavy use.

It works for my husky .

Bought this for a larger GSD and Golden Retriever. Fits GSD good. Be aware this is more than just cutting a hole and placing it in wall. Need to put rivets in place. Took my husband about 2-3 hours.

Previous owners had a dog door in the wall of the house in the laundry room. We took the old one out and put in a larger one. It was easy if you are handy, let me put it that way. We bought our own weather stripping so the door maybe weather proof but the total setup depends on how you set it up (see what I did there). I believe the instructions suggested caulk but I didn't want to have to rip the entire wall off if I needed to change it so I used two side-by-side layers of weather stripping.

I already had a hole cut and was replacing a broken plastic door. This was easy to install.

I have looked at dog doors before but hadn't tried one. I liked the design of this one. It is really nice having the double flaps. I worry about outside creatures accidentally making their way inside but the double flaps help. The template is great to have to install it correctly. The plastic is a little heavy. I needed a bigger size as one of my dogs is 70# but the other is only 15#. It took some work showing her how to go through it. She is very good motivated, though, so she eventually got it. It closes up well against the colder weather but I generally leave it open all day, every day. It is very heavy so takes a bit of work to install it properly.

The tunel could do with being deeper to cope with brick and block walls

The media could not be loaded. Die Hundeklappe ist super stabil und die Lieferung aus den USA war mit 3 Wochen auch schneller als gedacht. Sehr gut verpackt. Die Hunde haben es schnell gelernt. Absolute Empfehlung 👍
