I could be giving a biased review since my son has autism and is hyperlexic. He could read at 2. We are working on sentence structure and this is good from a basic level but limited in verbs so it’s makes a limited sequence of sentences. Very beginner. Great for littles to understand subject noun verb. Love that each category is color coded. Very durable. Just make sure use is appropriate for skill level.

This is such a great tool! I’m teaching my 5 year old to read and he is much more interested in puzzles and flashcards than books. Between this game and some sight word flashcards, we’re finally making progress! The best part about this game is that even if the sentence the kid puts together makes NO sense, they’re still getting practice reading it! It really does help to have the pieces separated by color (part of speech) to build the sentences more quickly. There are plenty of words I wish were there, but whenever I need to add a word, I use a dry erase marker on a period puzzle piece to write my own. That way you can even use the child’s name or favorite word. The pieces are sturdy and easy to put together. Great tool, love it.
