I was affraid to use this at first. I just imagined all the you tube videos of ladies having their hair bur off. I used it and at first, i didn't think it worked well. The directions are a joke, so it was a trial and error. The reason it wasn't working is because I wasn't leaving it in long enough. You must make sure your hair is brushed out or it will pull. You place a small section of hair (about 1- 1.5 inches) through the opening, making sure that the screen is towards your head (seems like it should be the other way, but whatever). You clamp it closed and you will hear it wind as your hair sucks up into it . Once it has all the hair in place, you will hear 1 beep. Keep holding it closed till you hear a series of beeps. Then release and slide hair out. Voila! The settings are in Celcius not Farenheit. You can choose the temp, left, right or automatic curls, time.

I was sooooo excited seeing this product work!!! I was worried about the bad reviews I read, but after using it one time I realize you just need the right tips. For example, some people complained about the curls going in the wrong directions, but I found if I manipulated the settings, I get them to go in the direction I want. Another common issue was hair tangling. My hair did get tangled a couple of times, but it didn’t pull out my hair or even hurt - I easily undid it and curled it again. The reason for tangles were 2 things: (1) too much hair was shoved into it, and (2) it wasn’t placed in the correct spot of the curler.So yes, I ran into a couple of snags, but it was easy to understand why it happened the first time, and how to not make it happen again. Now, I curl my hair in about 20min with this awesome curler in which I do little work to manipulate and have much less chance of burning my ears, neck, and forehead like I used to do.I love this curler!!!!

LOVE this! I have medium length hair and it is frizzy/curly, so I get it blown straight. The problem was that although I have natural curl, it wouldn't hold a curl from any iron or wand. This creates a perfectly smooth curl. Although you cannot do large sections, you can vary the length and heat for some different options. You can also restyle/ curl again without your hair smelling like it was burnt.

Just got this (the black model) and couldn't wait to try it. I have to say I'm really impressed. With a lot if time, difficulty and some burns, have tried for years to get my hair to curl like this. This device is easy and fast, and no burns ;) The curls also 'hold', even with my fine hair. I also tried the VAV automatic, but my hair is too short and got tangled. For this one, I just recommend to brush smooth your hair first and don't overstuff the device. Works great! :)

This thing sucks. I knew it would, but my daughter insisted on getting it. So I let her to teach her a lesson. It worked fine for a month (till the return window closed) then has started pulling her hair, not releasing it. Its getting stuck.

All it did was tangle my hair up. had to have my husband cut a piece of my hair out to get the thing off my head. just goes to show.... you get what you pay for. I ordered a different brand lets hope it works better.

So awesome!! I have thick hair so I have to take smaller parts of hair. So quick to curl! Also, you need to use distilled water so that it doesn’t get clogged up with the calcium from regular water.

It does not take the hair and curls it. I need the help of a younger woman
