Very disappointed by these, expected solid well made tools from the States but these are extremely badly made.All the grinding is way off; one jaw is about 2mm thicker than the other, and both halves have been ground out of parallel so the pivot is tight in 1st position and very loose in the 2nd position.I wasn't looking for pretty pliers but these are so bad they're mostly unusable.

Einerseits ist diese Verpackung unpraktisch, andererseits garantiert sie den Erhalt unbenutzter Originalware.Die geschmiedeten Flächen zeigen eine relativ feine Oberfläche, auch die spanend nachbearbeiten Flächen sind sauber. Der Stahl ist stabil, in der Hand fest zusammengepresst, zeigt sich nur sehr wenig Flexibilität der Griffe. Die Kunststoffummantelung der Griffe ist von guter Qualität und wird auch durch die Form der Griffe fest verankert. Name, Herstellungsort USA und Modellnummer sind fein und sauber lasergraviert.Das Gleitgelenk ermöglicht es, die Zange in beiden Endstellungen zu verwenden. In der weiteren Stellung sind die Backen 5,5 mm geöffnet, wenn die Griffe ganz geschlossen sind. Die Zange greift sicher und das Zahnprofil kann großes Drehmoment übertragen. So weit, so gut.Leider hat die Zange im Gelenk zu viel Spiel. Die Backen können in geschlossener Stelle um 1mm zu beiden Seiten verschoben werden. Da das Gelenk genietet ist, kann man das Spiel auch nicht korrigieren. Durch das Spiel funktioniert der integrierte Drahtschneider nicht.Insgesamt bin ich ein wenig enttäuscht, nachdem die Zange und ihr Hersteller in den USA einen sehr guten Ruf genießen. Trotz der Qualitätsmängel ist die Channellock meiner Noname-Kombizange, deren Schneidklingen auch nicht schneiden, wegen des Gleitgelenks funktional weit überlegen.
