Whoa..... I am in! Bring on some Damien
Trust Me - Book 1I bought this book not really knowing what to expect. It has a very 50 (shades of grey, come on people) vibe to it and that is meant as a compliment! This book has it all, a hot couple, hot steamy scenes and some really good laughs. I love the banter and I am a girl who requires conversation and not just complete internal dialogue.Allison has had some serious tragedy in her life, that I cannot even begin to imagine how to cope from. I love that where the book starts is her picking her life back up and starting again. You see how it still affects her, but it is NOT the entire story. Whew. I love a strong female leading character and she is one!!! She doesn't just do something because a man tells her to (thank gosh - yuck). She stands up for herself and I love that! Damien is great and absolutely easy to fall in love with. He has secrets, but so does she and as in any novel, you need some kind of drama, because I do not want all "rainbows and unicorns" in my romance books. Plus her best friend is a lot fun and I am even looking forward to where the books take her as well - yay for strong secondary charactersThis book was not just another love story, it is Book 1 of a trilogy and believe me when I say I AM HOOKED. It does not have a cliffhanger in my opinion, just an exceptional epilogue to leave you intrigued for the next book. I am left with questions of who, what, when, where and why. If that was her intent, she nailed it. I'm in love with both Damien and Allison. I don't despise Allison, the female lead, as I tend to in most books and that is very important to me as I find most of the leading females to be so immature and weak!!!If you don't like a hot wealthy guy and a pretty awesome chick who has a brain, then this book is not for you. I am anxiously waiting for the next books. I will admit after the epilogue I have gone back multiple times to see if I can have some clues in to the mystery of Damien Wale's past. She has me on a string waiting....Well done - especially for a new author, but for any author in general really.

Damien Wales is possessive, mysterious, and full of sex appeal!
Trust Me has enough plot line, sexy scenes, romance, and mystery to make it an excellent read! Trust Me is the story of Alli, a woman who has lost both parents in a tragic accident. Forced to sell her family home and give up her dreams for more rational decisions, she withdraws into herself and closes herself off to those around her. While on vacation, she meets Damien. Damien is mysterious, charming, possessive and hotter than sex on a stick. However, they both have pasts that seem to keep creeping up on their relationship. Lets just say, Damien's past is dark and mysterious and leave it there. I hate spoiling the story! One thing that I absolutely loved about this book, is I wasn't sure where this story was going to go. Was Damien oddly possessive in a good way or a creepy way? Was he going to be Christian Grey and suddenly open the Red room door? Also, Alli's character could have been a predictable virgin whose only sex appeal is lip chewing ( really over Ana in FSOG), or being childish and whiny. Mayer managed to convey her innocence without making her seem like an immature kid. I liked how Alli stands up for herself, knows who she is, and knows just the right way to handle her man. This book does end in a bit of preview ( not really a cliffhanger) into the next book, Love Me. I will say, I am highly intrigued to see what happens and who is behind the mystery plot within this book. This book was well written, great story line, and an excellent read! Happy Reading!

4.5 to 4 stars I can't decide...... Frustrated but awsome book.
I'm torn between 4.5 stars and 5 stars mainly due to frustration. This was an awsome book but am left hanging with the cliffhanger and now I have to wait 3 months to find out what happens aarrgghh frustrating. I really liked this book. Someone mentioned that it reminded them of fifty shades and I'd have to agree to some extent. I really thought I picked the mystery but after reading the epilogue that's thrown a spanner in the works I thought I had it all figured out. I would have read this book in a day or so but due to interruptions it took me a bit longer but couldn't wait to pick it up again and get lost in the world of Damien and Allison. Great job kristin Mayer I can't wait for the follow up. I highly recommend this book if you like suspense books and don't mind waiting for a result.

Wow!
Very surprised to find this gem. I was going through a book slump and reading one bad book after another. Stumbled upon Alli and Damien's story by accident and fell in love.Damien's unwavering and unconditional love for Alli is what had me hooked. I love a story where our hero finds his woman and won't take no for an answer. He stops at nothing to have her and won't let go. He will love and protect her at all costs. This is the type of love story I want to read. Not the story where the hero is a player and not sure he wants to settle down.Damien and Alli are together and their love will see them through the challenges their past lives are throwing at them. Can't wait for Love Me!

GREAT READ
This is book 1 in the Trust Series and the debut novel by Kristin Mayer. My rating is a 4.5 but you cant do that so now you know. This debut novel I think was one of the best I have read. When I read I need a pull, something that is going to stay with me and make me itch to finish it and this did that for me. The two main characters, Damien and Allison are great, the story line is great, the flow is great and it leave you with a I'll call it a slanted cliffhanger because it gives you enough not to want to pull your hair out but enough that you MUST read the 2nd book. I was lucky because it was released shortly after I finished. Awesome series and would highly recomment, go READ ON!

great start to a series
This story is well planned out and has some great twist and turns.I must say though when i started reading it i was kind of like this has so been done before, there was the fact that Damian and Alli fell for each other within seconds it seemed, Damian was the dominating man of so many other books, it all seemed just another rehash of 50 shades, Crossfire and Stark trilogy for me.Then as the story really develops you get more of the characters back story and the reasons behind some of Damian's decisions and i did enjoy it more, Alli was still a little bit love struck with not much substance she just seem to follow Damian and his wishes like a little puppy, but as you read on i did really like both the characters and how they interacted with each other, the way Alli stood her ground at times and didnt let Damian dictate to her about her job and money ect.Damian is so very protective of Alli, and would do anything to keep her safe, he is such a romantic the whole first time for Alli was so sexy romantic it just makes your heart swell up, and the proposal good god the man is a keeper, loved it.I loved the whole mystery that threads through the story it keeps you wondering whats going to happen next and WHO please tell me who it is!TI liked how it all the different elements from Damian's sister to the things happening to Alli felt connected, i hate books that just throw different dramas in a story just to have something happen, it just gets confusing this story flowed very well, and pulled you into its depths and didnt let you out again until you find yourself screaming at your kindle because you want more story!.Now im sat hoping Kristen can write really fast and give me some sort of closure because the suspense is killing me !!!!he cliffhanger at the end was not my favorite thing, i dont think i can manage to live without knowing who this bloody weirdo is!

Not very good
First off I'm pleased I got this book free. The story line was ok but the way the author wrote the book was a bit weird. When you get to the last hour of the book you get three chapters written from damien's point of view then you get a preview of another book then you get a preview of love me book 2.which is quite annoying when you think you have one hour left in the book you are already reading. I don't think I will be reading anymore of her books. But each to their own. Everyone likes different things

Hot, sexy romance
OMG I have to say I finally found a book that sucked me back into reading, thank you Damian and Alli.I loved the way they meet, the instant attraction, the love at first sight, it's highly romantic and the sex is hot!!!! Sexy without being crude. This read has a good story, plot and characters. Twists and turns, galore and lots of angst. Some minor grammatical errors but nothing to take away from the story. I'm looking to the next in this series. Highly recommend especially if you love overprotective sex gods.

wow wow wow
I'm putting it out there before I start that Damien is mine, if I can't have him then we need to clone him, because I want a Damien. Allison and Damien meet when she is on a break to try to come to terms with the loss of her parents. They start to date when the break is over and damn the things he does to please and impress Alli are so sweet. He is very possessive ( nope not telling you why) but you quickly realise why he is so protective. An ex tries to break them up, there is also a huge mystery that plays throughout the book which is going to carry on in the next one, which I have bought already.

Amazing
I choose this author as Kelly Elliott recommended her. I am glad I read it, fast start but twist and turns all through that keep you hooked. I will definitely buy this series and her next new series Ripple Effect.Lovely to find author's that have the imagination to find love, humour and the swoon effect and role it into one. I love nothing more than cuddling up to my big Scotsman on the sofa and reading as he makes me feel loved everyday it reminds you true love can come true.
