Great Practice
The media could not be loaded. This eye plate is perfect for practicing makeup. The interchangeable eyes are brilliant. Each eye color needs new shades and tones of eyeshadows. It’s very well made!

Useless product
Don't buy it. The brush provided along with the dummy are really bad. The dummy is also very hard to clean. It's a useless product overall.

It's A Miss For Me
The media could not be loaded. I love the concept of this kit. Finding someone to practice makeup on can be tricky and this eye model seemed like a great idea. However, the silicone-like texture of the skin made applying makeup TOUGH. I tested liquid eyeliner, eyeshadow, and an eyebrow pencil on this and it was difficult to get any sort of pigmentation. Every single product came out streaky and sometimes even pilled off as I was applying it. I'm no Kevin Aucoin but I can flick a wing out when I need to and it was nearly impossible on this kit. It drags! I'm not familiar with any other practice kits but I couldn't recommend this one (with the shiny skin texture) to anyone trying to get a clean application.

Slightly different than pictured, not the most realistic texture around
I wonder if the eye colors provided are random, because the listing showed a variety of eye colors including blue and green, while my board only came with three different shades of brown eye. Not the biggest deal, but that does affect what different looks I can practice. If it was meant to be random, I wish that were clearer in the listing. As for the board itself, it seems sturdily built, to the point where it took a bit of muscle to swap the eye out. However, the skin texture seems... odd and sticky. Obviously it's not real skin, but it has such a sticky rubbery texture that the makeup didn't react normally on it either. Some of it beads up weirdly, gets sticky, or otherwise doesn't blend or spread the same way it does on an actual person. It helps some with practice, but the limited realism in blending and application likewise limits how much good your practice is going to do.

Works well but skin is kind of sticky so takes getting used to & got 3 shades of brown eyes
I’ve had other makeup practice boards like this. Most of them have eyes open, and while I can do different eye looks on the open eyes, I’d much rather practice them on closed eyes to do the full look. When I saw this board had one eye open and one closed, it seemed perfect! I also liked it came with different colored eyes to switch out! This comes in a nice sturdy product box. It’s made in China. The product photos showed different colored eyes - like blue, light brown, and maybe dark brown. But what I received were all different shades of brown. So that was pretty disappointing. This is a completely blank canvas. It doesn’t have eyebrows or lashes.Eyebrows frame a face, so most people are going to want to add some eyebrows on. It’s a great way to practice eyebrow hair strokes! But, if someone isn’t that good at drawing (like me), you might think it would be hard. But, the ones they have helped get me started. I actually found it pretty easy to do the eyebrows. The beginning It took some work getting them to look even somewhat similar (no different from my own eyebrows 😂 I know, eyebrows are sisters, not twins). The lashes are also pretty easy, plus you can’t easily put false lashes on it too!Underneath, it has non-slip on each corner so the board won’t slide around while you’re practicing. It stays in place. The top 2 corners are somewhat lifted, so it sits at an angle, which helps when practicing. I find it sits in a nice way where I don’t need to hold it myself. It cleans off nicely with cleansing oil or makeup remover just like with other practice boards I’ve had.The brushes that come with it are cheaper brushes. Not the best quality. I tried them out and they’re fine. But, I prefer my own brushes. But if you don’t have any, they’ll get the job done. The product description says this “simulates the texture of real human skin.” I don’t really agree with that. It’s sticker than actual skin. Maybe if you used a really sticky primer and then tried to apply powder products on it, but otherwise it feels too sticky to me. I found if I apply a light translucent powder before applying eyeshadow or even a primer that dries down and isn’t sticky, then I have a much easier time applying eyeshadow onto this. It’s the same if I want to apply powder blush on the “cheek” area or contour on nose area. The powders don’t apply easily over the sticky texture. But if I apply a loose translucent powder first or a foundation that dries down on its own, then they apply nicely over those! Don’t get me wrong, you can still blend on it completely bare (no powder or primer first), but it takes a little more work when you first get started. Once that first layer is on, it’s easier). It works great once you get used to the sticky kind of texture of the skin and how to work with it. I love that it has one closed eye and one opened eye to see how an eye look will look both ways! It’s also nice you can change the eye color, but would have been nice if they actually sent different colored eyes like the product photos showed rather than just different shades of brown eyes. If I had, this would be 5 stars. But as is, it’s 4 stars.
