Perfectly worked without any trouble.

I recently joined Community Fibre (CF). They outsourced their installation to Kelly Communication who will not listen to the customers. They installed the fiber to my bedroom as they cannot bring the cable to my living room what I wanted. Their reasoning was the fibre cable cannot be bent. They left around 1 meter of cable in attach to the router as a circle.I looked up here and found this cable so I had extend the connection to my living room. No problem. All is working well. I have multiple bends along the door and the walls.I have notice slight speed drop, around 50mbs which is not significant when you have 1Gbps.

The item I received does not have "Armored" imprinted on the cable and so I assume it isn't as claimed in the advert.It works as it should in an indoor environment as long as there is no danger of damage.

I used this to extend the box from the wall to closer to the router. A big ethernet cable was running across my room so I had the idea to use this instead and a shorter cable from the receiver to the router. Result = faster internet.

Review of Vesperia 30m(98.4ft) Armoured Network Fibre Optic Cable SC/APC to SC/APC OS2,A 30mtr armoured patch cable that is just 3mm diameter, it never ceases to amaze how miniature in size electronics are becoming today compared with just a few years ago when FTTH was introduced.This cable fitted with SC connectors with APC (8 degree contact) ensure a high level of signal for video and communication, simplex a single fibre whilst OS2 higher attenuation which a little odd on a short 30mtr cable however a high bandwidth capability.The cable designed for outdoor application with it’s stainless steel re-enforcement can be used indoors as less susceptible to damage and attenuation is lower when bent or twisted.These APC cables factory assembled should maintain consistent quality, the SC connectors fairly common nowadays so compatibility with routers and fibre equipment good.Under test the cable preformed as description and surprisingly flexible given it’s re-enforcing, as this is an OS2 cable the cost a reflection of it's quality and ability.

I have a lot of devices needing network access around. Initially we used lower speeds on ethernet and simple cable sufficed. As time has gone on we moved toward CAT8 for copper cables and enabling higher speeds, for streaming and file transfer.Now with a new home fibre is the new default, particularly for longer runs. This brand offers 'patch cords' in a range of lengths up to 300m. I evaluated a short one before ordering longer to run to the outdoors. Having squirrels in the garden it is encouraging to have the armouring shown as pest proof.I am not equipped to test the speed claims, but compared to copper these smaller terminations are easier to thread through walls and simpler to deploy as DIY than blown raw fibre.
