Did the job very well

Three appliances in our bathroom - the sink, bath and shower - began to drain progressively more slowly over a period of a month or so. I tried flushing the pipes with hot (60C) dilute detergent solution, but this only resulted in a total blockage in all three pipes. So I bought a very powerful sink plunger, which blew and sucked out a lot of soap scum from all three drain holes, but the total blockage remained. Next, I considered buying a plumbers' snake, but after reading the reviews, and with a knowledge of the number of right-angled bends involved, decided that this would be a waste of time in the present case.It now seemed time to use chemicals, which could easily reach the blockage. After reading many reviews,I bought the Which? Best Buy - Buster Bathroom pipe unblocker. I poured 600ml down each of the three pipes, by-passing the plughole traps where possible to reduce dilution and retention of the chemical in the traps. The instructions say to wait 15 minutes or leave overnight if possible, but because I knew I had a serious problem, I left it for 2 days and then poured 500ml of hot water down each plughole at 4 hour intervals. After a further 2 days, I flushed the system with hot water and found that all pipes ran clear, albeit with some initial spluttering and wheezing noises. The noises soon stopped after the remnants of the blockage cleared, and everything is working perfectly again. Thanks a lot, Buster, for dealing with a serious build-up of my wife's 500mm long hair.

Good price and it works well.

I moved into a flat that was, to be honest, rather dirty. Plughole in Shower was very slow in letting water down. This sounded quite good as it really set out all the rules of not inhaling, not letting it touch skin etc. Put 2 bottles down, on 2 separate days, and still had blocked Shower. Had to call out Plumber in end.

I was happy I chose this brand, I followed the instruction on the label and poured 1 x bottle of the unblocker (the pack I bought contained 3 x bottles) down the plug hole and after just 20mins my blocked sink was unblocked and the water was running free again, I was very impressed and would recommend.
