BAKUGAN Legends Deka, Jumbo Collectible Transforming Action Figure and Trading Card, Kids’ Toys for Boys & Evolutions, Power Up Pack, True Metal Action Figure and New Nanogan

So the nephew is currently into everything, and I mean EVERYTHING! I dare not show him my comic book collection for fear he'll want to start collecting these too, and, well the prices of new monthly comics these days is mind boggling!Anyway, be that as it is, the youngling is also into Bakugan, which, after getting him a set of figures a little while ago, are transforming robot things which transform from a ball or some such into a robot thing or some such. However, unlike those ones, this Legends Deka (still unsure what this means) is much bigger in size than those ones. It is huge in comparison!These figs are supplied blind and we got the "Blitz Fox" one which changes from a ball to a robot fox thing when you roll it over some little pad thing (I'm so good with words and descriptions here). As it turned out, "Blitz Fox" is his second favourite Bakugan. I'm unsure what his first is, but it's not this, that said he absolutely loves this because:a). It's bigb). It transformsc). The card is 1000Oh there's a card that comes with it.So, ok, this slice of pop culture has completely passed me by, but, these aren't for me, they are for younglings, and younglings will absolutely love these.

The media could not be loaded.  My son absolutely loves this collectible toy, it comes with 1 Deka Bakugan, 1 Deka BakuCore, 1 Character Card. You can roll the ball at a hard surface and it transforms in to the character, I absolutely love the concept as does my son! It’s a little tricky to get it back into ball form but my 7 year old managed it.My only negative is that you can’t choose your colour so you won’t know if you’ll receive the same one.This toy would make a great gift as it’s beautiful presented in its packaging.All in all I would definitely recommended.

The plastic quality is solid. The action figure pops open when placed over a magnetic card. Overall there's no sharp bits that could catch little fingers and the figure is fairly easy to fold back up without risk of damaging it. It's been a while since I looked at anything from the Bakugan toy range, but I do like the larger figures as apposed to the small golf ball sized ones as they feel much more solid.My only comment is you can't choose which colour you get - red or white - which is a bit of an issue seeing as how pricy the product is. You would think they'd give you a choice of which you wanted. That said it would make an ideal gift for fans of the franchise.

My young son, who absolutely adores the action figure toys from Bakugan, was quite delighted at seeing this toy show up in the mail. The build quality is quite solid, and it’s aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.My son has now spent a good portion of his time after school with this toy. He is thrilled to see that the ball opens up into a fun character, and can be easily transformed back into the ball.It comes in a presentable packaging suitable for gifting. It retails at £17.99 (at the time of writing), may seem a little bit on the pricey side, however, this is a unique collectible item, which might be valuable one day.Overall, a good fun collectible toy that can make a great gift.

You can't choose which one you have, it's by chance to which one you are sent. We had the red dragonoid x tretorous. Comes in a cardboard backing and clear plastic front, so you can see the rolled up bakugan, character card and bakucore. This one is a bigger version of the standard bakugan toys. Quite a size difference between the two. You transform you bakugan by rolling it across their bakucore (the hexagonal card) and it then pops open into a ready to battle deka bakugan. It's magnetically triggered by the card. It's easy enough to fold/put back into the ball. To me, I really don't understand how you play/battle against someone else, even after an explanation front my nephew. He was really pleased with it, telling me about it stats and powers.

Firstly our boy, aged five, has a couple of these already and loves playing with them. They roll up into a ball and when you roll them over the little hexagonal card they come with, an embedded magnet triggers a mechanism in the Bakugan and they ping open!We got the Blitz Fox who is cool and great fun but I'm not sure I would be happy spending £18 on a blind purchase. There are three different options and you do not know which one you are going to get. If you could pick and choose I would be very happy but if your trying to get a particular one then its a bit of a punt for nigh on twenty quid.

For what you receive, this does seem a little pricey. The model is well enough made and easy to assemble. I've no awareness of Japanese popular culture, so have no knowledge as to whether this is a current craze or not (or perhaps an attempt to create one). As a collectible set, there's a clear marketing angle here to encourage kids to press their parents for more of the set. And the fact that you can't choose which model you buy means you can easily end up with a duplicate. The whole marketing aspect makes me rather uncomfortable, but I guess it's always been this way.

They come very nicely presented, as you would expect for a toy of this price. Inside the box is1 Deka Bakugan, 1 Deka BakuCore, 1 Character Card.These little things fold up and open out, a bit like transformers when I was a child. They also have abilities, which has something to do with the cards, and you can earn extra points in battle. I'm not entirely sure how it all works to be honest, but the kiddos had it all sussed out in no time and spent a fair while on them.They are small figures, and personally, I think they're quite expensive, but if your an avid collector, then I guess this is what you would expect to pay.Overall, for a toy of this price range combined with the collectable aspect of them, I'd say they are worth the money.
