I got into Chaga mushroom powder (and others) after watching a Joe Rogan podcast with Paul Stamets – a fantastic watch/listen if you have the time – and while I'm a huge skeptic of supplements and the like, I am totally convinced by the case for the importance of these mushrooms. For me, this is essentially like health insurance. I'm paying a little now every month so that I don't get stuck with a massive bill later from getting really sick when I'm older. And I mean it's not to say you shouldn't have health insurance, but I do feel like the proper nutritional balance – of which mushrooms play a vital role – is the best medicine in the world and will help prevent all sorts of disease and organ failures.From there, I found this power extract from GoodHuman, and it's both a great product and a great company. I reached out to ask them about the product and their sourcing, etc., and they were extremely helpful and responsive. Note that these mushrooms are grown in Siberia, which has very clear air relative to China and other places in the region, and if you watch the podcast Paul Stamets goes into a huge thing about how Chinese mushrooms are basically poison because they're being grown in such toxic air quality environments. So know your sourcing, and know the company you're dealing with... and in those regards I give GoodHuman and this powder an A+ on both accounts.Pro-Tip: I use a teaspoon of the Chaga powder in my morning smoothies, along with some Turkey Tail, Lion's Mane, and Cordyceps – in addition to my regular ingredients of plant protein chocolate powder, frozen berries, a banana, turmeric and ginger, and I can't even tell you how much better I feel everyday. I used to drink 2-3 cups of coffee/day, and no joke I haven't even thought about needing a cup in the last 2 weeks. Game changer.

The first thing I noticed is that it tasted weak compared to most other chagas I’ve tried. (I was introduced to chaga, in person, by David Wolfe, have physically visited Fungi Perfecti in Olympia Washington, and order almost every chaga from Amazon)The second thing I noticed is that I didn’t get the normal, powerful feelings I get from chaga.So I gave it a taste.Tastes like finely ground dried plum & date powder. Two very popular fruits from china (including the ever popular jujube, the Chinese red date).I like this company’s name and the idea behind it. It’s cool. I would love the price if it was real chaga. Unfortunately, this costs far too much for a fake.Further, it is disappointing that so many people can be fooled. This rates much higher than most real chaga products, which initially had me excited to try this new one. However, it rates so high only because it’s “cheap” compared to the others. Shows just how easily people can be tricked for the promise of saving them a little money.Not that I’m immune to be being tricked. Heck, if it didn’t obviously taste like plum & date powder, I probably would’ve consumed the whole bag on “faith”, and thought it was just weird chaga that I should get used to.I hope these people recall this crap, scold their suppliers and carry legitimate product.

I rarely review products but I had to leave one for this chaga powder because of how great it really is. I'm so glad that I found this brand of chaga because the few others I've tried didn't taste as good as this one from GoodHuman does. I drank my first glass with no problem at all and am really happy that I enjoy something that comes with so many health benefits. Great stuff, I'm super happy with it and will be reordering!!!

Nice substitute for coffee. I get more of a calming effect, though. This was my first time purchasing powdered mushrooms and I'm glad I got the chaga EXTRACT (versus the powder), it dissolved completely in hot water. Tried it with cacao powder and stevia, didn't like the taste. So, I tried it with a little cream, stevia, and vanilla flavoring and yummy...I wanted it everday. Now I'm ready to re-order and it's unavailable; what's up with that?

READ THE DESCRIPTION. Very deceptive. I am returning this. No organic certication and it says , on the package, MADE IN CHINA.

This almost fully dissolves but the bit that doesn't leaves a sludge ato the bottom of my coffee. Good amount for the price. Since I only dissolve this into drinks it isn't working well for me.

I do not usually leave reviews, but felt like I should for this amazing product and company. I have been adding this Chaga powder into smoothies and matcha every week. It gives me a good immune boost in the morning and is a nice superfood addition to my smoothies. GoodHuman has my favorite brand of Chaga I have tried yet!! Will definitely be buying again along with other products from this company.

Boosts the immune system, very pleased with this product, I can feel the difference when I take it which is a heaping tsp. once or twice a day.
