Not all 1" clips are the same. These are good!
I needed to make some tie downs for my motorcycle tank bag. The bag had Mojave branded clips attached already and I tried a clip at a local hardware store. The clip did not fit well which is why I bought these from Amazon. I used these clips with the soft 1" webstraps to hold what I needed. These clips seem sturdy.

Perfect Replacement
I had some motorcycle bags with a broken buckle, a quick google search of the markings on the buckle led me here. Just replaced the broken half of a buckle last night, brought my bags back to full functionality and now I have spares.
