This is great...as it made me feel like I was Shakespeare for a minute (although he had a more specific beard apparently, but this reminds me of him as this it the time period and dress of that time, sans different beard type I believe.) the beard is bushy and full, although looks flat-ish from the side at about 1 inch thick. (obviously not like a human beard.) So I dont know about professional acting purposes, but for any silly acting, for kids, cosplay, Halloween etc....great. The hat though is like a legit prop even for professional acting purposes and is pretty good quality and looks great. Felt comfortable. So this can be used for multiple things. For some silliness...and a Halloween costume if I need one...this is great, and I am very happy with it.

The hat is acceptable, although the material is very thin. The beard is not as pictured. Instead of the hair that’s shown, I received a thin piece of material that barely has any fuzz on it. People will laugh if you wear it! Perhaps a small child could get away with wearing it.

Good product, the beard is take it or leave it though.

This hat is perfect, it looks exactly as pictured and it fits even on my giant head.Since it is black, I feel like it matches any renaissance costume.The feather is real and if by some sad accident it falls off, the hat would look barren without it.The elastic is nice, but not too tight, which I was a little worried about, I think this could be comfy for a full days wear.
