This is messy but my son loved the experience of doing it. It's a really good educational gift. Would purchase again, but have them do it at the table over some newspaper and save yourself the grief! Recommend this product.

Got it for my son for his 5th birthday. He loves my anatomy figure with removable organs so I thought this would be great for him since he also has a fascination with piranhas. He loves it. He tore right into it and was in awe that the "goo" looked like a fossil as well. He wanted to make it again very shortly after the first time. We have yet to set another mold but he has assured me after a couple hours of playing with it and then on and off the rest of the day that he "NEEDS" the salamander and the frog too!
